The Triunfante Spanish warship was discovered by fishermen in the 1980s but was unfortunately plundered heavily in the 60's and 70's. Despite efforts to protect the sites, amateur divers continued to hamper archeological progress. A team of experienced archeologists still endeavour to discover more about this illustrious site through meticulous documentation and conservation efforts.

A very shallow wreck with excellent visibility, but that very accessibility has denuded it's archaeological value, except in the essential structure of the ship, the British possess a similar ship on a sandbank in the Solent, this is the Invincible, a French ship of 1744 which was of revolutionary design, the narrative of the Triomphante suggest that the design of this Spanish 3rd rate ship benefitted from what the British had learnt from Invincible after they captured it since the Spanish then spyed on the English & used what they learnt to design El Triumphante.

Yep. No idea is safe forever! People are really lousy at keeping secrets for very long. Those in need of money are susceptible to bribes. People who feel their religious beliefs are being persecuted, are prone to accepting allies and sharing information with those, they would otherwise not. The British were just as crafty when it came to stealing naval technology from others too. For better or worse, it's how navies have always found progress. On the positive side, it demands constant innovation and iteration. On the negative side it can get expensive as things like the paradigm shift that HMS Dreadnought caused.

Private collectors preserve more than any government or museum out there. Ok, so everybody cant see the artifacts in private hands....how much material do you see in a museum? Not even 15%, the majority is in storage and you wont see it anyway! And, did you also know that private collectors are responsible for 80% of the exhibits in the smaller and privately operated museums? Id rather artifacts be in private hands than in the hands of government sanctioned and licensed grave robbers snd looters. I know a few archeologists and let me tell you, they have some of the nicest private collections I have ever seen in someone's residence.

Although I agree 100%, you will never win that argument against most archeologists and museums. Here in the US, you're supposed to leave arrowheads on the ground so they can be swallowed up again by the Earth and never seen again. Makes no sense.

During the first five minutes , it seemed like the writers had noting important to say, so they filled the gaps with horrible, long-lasting noise, called "music".

@user-tc4pc9uz5c I do have much musical talent; however, I am not one for music being used as a filler, or lulls in videos. I just have a personal preferences for the types that I like. Hence, videos with no music is what I prefer. Also, I play piano, rhythm guitar, and electric bass. I even have recorded a professional album with my husband. Sadly, within 13 hours of finishing that album, he was killed in a collision. How can one promote an album when the lead singer is no longer a living person?
