Stevo, you've gone from being a good interviewee to becoming a better than average interviewer and in a very short period of time. Impressive stuff. Hang in there, dude! We're all with you.

Sorry for the poor audio quality!! We filmed this video at an ex-members home who has birds. It was also the middle of summer and we only had a fan to keep us cool. I hope you guys still enjoy our interview together!!

Steven Mango great video!!! It was awesome & insightful to have two people with different scientology backgrounds having a discussion. We got to see different aspects of the money hungry cult. Hopefully, you do more videos like this... though I still prefer the private solo vids the best.

In all honesty, I was starting to think the fad/obsession with joining Scientology has faded, and that channels like yours or Leah’s show would soon be pointless. Then you told the story about the homeless girl paying for Scientology instead of an apartment and others laughing about it. It made me sick to my stomach how a “religion” can be so disgusting. Thank you Steve and Karen, your work is (still) so important
@eugenek11807 жыл бұрын
What an excellent interview. People like Karen is the very reason why it's such a heart-wrenching experience getting out of Scientology - you meet these wonderful human beings that technically want to do good but because they are "applying Scientology," they end causing you harm in the process while believing they are helping you. So their intentions are good, but the methodology, as a whole, is destructive. And it's very confusing because you pick up positive intentions and affinity, but face destructive actions (especially psychologically). Unlike someone who is openly hostile, this is something that is rather hard to fight or even recognize... until you thoroughly understand how Scientology actually works in its numerous dimensions.

Hi Steven, This particular interview is so very important. Scientology has preyed on creative, hungry artists to recruit them & make them a prisoner of the cult for financial enhancement Hope your honesty resonates other artists looking for help with their career not get pulled into this. Cruise & Travolta cannot be so blind not to see the truth. I was one of the nurses who cared for Jennifer Lopez when she had her twins & Leah was there all 5 days. She wasn't very Nic, reeked of cigarette smoke & really looked distracted. We got on the elevator & had the same coat on...she gave me a dirty look. Im happy U & Leah made it out OK

There’s this private school in Leon Guanajuato Mexico that uses L Ron Hubbard books as “extended learning classes”. I worked there for 5 months. Now looking back, I can see even how the administration was Scientology based. Some of my former coworkers post Scientology stuff after I had made a statement. I had said how weird I feel now about what was going on there in the past. Even how they “left me go” was so fishy.

PB Babe same!!! A scientology church was just built roughly 2 yrs ago in my area. Of course the few members have been trying to recruit new members like crazy & as we all know will go to any length to pull them in. I’ve been approached numerous times about joining, about 8 times in a 6wk period. I even thought about joining just so they’d leave me alone. Before joining anything I research it... especially one that wanted $5000.00 up front (of course I’d supposedly get that back over a course of 5 years...aka, used to pay for courses). Anyways, I found the 20/20 video about Leah Remmy (sorry about spelling her name wrong), that actually led me to this channel. So happy I was able to avoid their money hungry clutches.

Btw, my area is a small farm town in WV, about 45 minuets from Morgantown. They definitely aren’t getting many new members, but their church is pretty extravagant.

The truth is that careers are ruined by joining the Sea. Org. Alexandra Powers is a prime example. She had a distinct look and to this day, I still recall the work she did in an episode of Brimstone (Carriers). She was talked into joining the Sea Org, and despite having been in The Dead Poets Society, her career stopped. Take that money and put it into training at the Actor's Studio or a good four year university with a drama department. You will have more fun and learn tips associated with the trade.

Robert Flint you should watch the path on Hulu. It has Aaron Paul who played Jesse in breaking bad in it. Its about a cult and its so much like scientology. They talk about moving up the rungs and the different levels people are. Auditing sessions. Its so crazy. Also if you leave you can never see your family again. Their religion on the show is called meyerism. Its a great show that gives you a glimpse inside what it must be like.

Wait so she’s still upholding Scientology’s “vow” to not discuss people’s cases? Uhm. So she still has some sort of respect for the organization it seems, if she didn’t that vow wouldn’t mean a damn thing.
@mangoman75916 жыл бұрын
If she was counseling a person who told her a dark secret, and vowed not to tell... that has nothing to do with Scientology, as far as I am concerned. She is respecting the privacy of others.
