Its more of a dangerous grift than you could even imagine they have coaxed many people to commit suicide they almost did it to me and yet initially it’s just very small, simple life, hacks, and self-help that slowly slowly starts to take over everything your entire life

Did you see the NYT article about acadia health? I am a survivor of the troubled teen industry. I am not necessarily anti-psych but am against how facilities are run. I admire Foucoult’s work

stuck behind a paywall, but i am not a fan of these for-profit psychiatric chain hospitals. i unfortunately did some shifts at one for a little bit and just felt grimey and left there after a handful of shifts
