@@silverseth7 true but we are death worlders what we see as pain and what they see as pain is different. If a long time sitting on the pleasure button equals petting joy from doggo then the pain part will also not be so effective :p. But yeah I dislike that part but they just don't know any better. I hope the pain thingy won't become common practice but still

Not bad idea from aliens to increase their territory so they can retreat and not disturb the terran alpha predators, even allows them mine most valuable resources from the systems before settling everything leaving no traces of their existence before retreating to system away... though this does increase area to defend, it does buy time to increase in tech and manpower.
