I havent seen the movie but I imagine that the dog was a rather minor part of the movie with maybe a scene or two here and there. These channels tend to focus on the more integral parts of the story, so yeah they showed him getting the dog but any minor scene with it afterwards probably was deemed to minor to be in the video. idk, just my two cents.
