Granted, yes, the fight was a tad disappointing and could have been a bit better in a couple of different ways but was still a good scene to watch.

I love how the Trex and Giga were acting like territorial animals who weren't interested in fighting and only interacted because of a carcass but for some reason here in the escape scene they just had to fight for no reason

In that moment they were in a small area so in that moment it got territorial I guess. But yeah I would also say that they are not behaving like animals. they still can feel the heat and smell the fire, they should be stressed and trying to find a way to get more distance to the fire. Same goes with the carno in jw 2 who just hunted while a volcano was breaking out. zero sense in there

It's very clearly explained that they are fighting over the territory they are in. The earlier scene was meant to represent that the Giga is bullying the Rex away from food. in this scene the Rex (who is Rexy) has decided to fight for the right to eat anywhere. You're complaining about a scene that was explained.

Considering the Giga has no completed skeleton and is still missing many parts of its body, it's very difficult to say who would win between them. I don't think there is an answer of who is the "strongest" between Rex, Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.

Well not really as the estimates of how heavy a giganotosaurus are much higher than those of the Rex and it is known to be much bigger, but as far as who is stronger it is difficult to tell as there are no complete giganotosaurus skeletons and it is still missing a lot of body parts but I think my money is on the giganotosaurus because recent studies suggest that unlike the Rex it was an ambush predator so a fight like in the movie is highly unlikely and also while the teeth of a Rex are made to crush bones the giga has stake knives for teeth it would rip the flesh of the bones and any well placed bite would've caused critical damage towards it's opponent possibly causing it to bleed out

Probably especially since Alan and Ian both were smelled by Rexy (Alan when he was saving Lex and Tim, Ian when he was redirecting Rexy towards tge outhouse where she ate the lawyer) and since an animal of that size and nature would need an expansive memory to remember such things so yeah Rexy would recognize at least Alan, Ian, Ellie (due to Rexy chasing her in the "must go faster" scene which most likely happened cause Rexy caught a wiff of Ellie, Ian and Muldoons scent), and Claire and Owen (due to the scene in fallen kingdom where they took some of her blood to save Blue)

This is honestly about how I feel a T-Rex fight with a Giga of the same size plays out. In this case, the Rex is both much older (She's 30+) and possibly a lot loss well fed as we can see the Giga taking food from her early. "Rexy looks drunk" Yeah she may be suffering the start of starvation and this becomes a desperate attempt to save herself.

Since we’re going down this path, it’s HEAVILY implied JW Rexy is a weaker version of jp1 Rexy. Having been stated to have become old and as a result her muscles atrophied (which means to become weaker) meaning her body should be far more decrepit and less strong as it was back in her jp state. But then for JWD, time and time again are we told her mass increase signifies a higher level of power. With her being stated to have been “restored to her former glory” blatantly stating she’s back to how she use to be in Jurassic park which again is stated to be a superior version of JW Rexy. We also see this coming into fruition when comparing her official JWD model and jp model and them CONSISTENTLY retaining the same width and depth and sharing nigh identical frameworks. Now the very reason this has been done, was to actually boost GIGAS morale as a villain. Colin as said originally planned for him to be a ruthless killer akin to indom but another story writer comes and tells him he doesn’t need to do that and tells him something like that can be done more subtly. Which this subtle method was increasing her physical mass in order to show her power increasing. And Giga dominates this Rexy. Shown to have far more potent attacks on said Rexy than indom did on a weaker Rexy. This would mean the story being told here is as simple as Giga being superior to BOTH. And this narrative is given semblance through her bulk and her having an equal prowess to jp Rexy who as already bexplained is superior to JW Rexy. And yeah, they LITERALLY changed every little detail of her model to match her prime/jp So your argument is kind of flawed

@@darkwitch8648 The first season of La Brea was a cluster. (I also haven't watched any of the second season.) Too many characters resulted in too many storylines. And they used *heroin* as a pain reliever despite having access to medicinal marijuana. I couldn't believe it when I saw that. The acting was usually iffy at best, and when Gavin approached the government workers (in the first or second episode) and revealed that he was (somehow) aware of a VERY confidential mission and provided information he absolutely should not have had, they just blew him off and let him walk away! WHAT?!

A movie about mutant bugs eating the world's crops. A movie about company espionage. A movie about dino trafficking and a movie about a comic bookish/manga Amelia Earhart pilot superhero, extraordinaire "badass". It was a crap sandwhich. At this point, any further sequels are merely made to sell toys now. The movies have become as bad as the Fast and the Furious franchise. Senseless spectacles. 🤢

Plot armor takes so much away of what the t-rex is really capable of but the same time it should've been more challenging to go up against the opponent in a hard fought battle instead of a side ally just randomly popping up.🤔

I get it's a nonsense fun kind of movie but tyrannosaurs pretty much kill anything the moment they bite down, the bite force they exert is absurdly high and would crush whatever it grabs. Giganotosaurs hunt large game by serration rather than strong bites which means they bleed out animals vs killing by crushing their prey. Simply put the giga would run from a trex the moment it got bitten if a chance to run was even given. I love giganotosaurs they are one of my favorites but even I have to admit when they'd lose.

How I would have handled the giga: Have the camera only shot at his feet when walking towards its prey,have him kill and eat a dreadnoughtus,make him stomp. Make him roar at dilophosaurs,follow the vehicle Alan's group was in,when fighting the therizinosaurus he decapitates him,and finally bite off Rexy tail tip.

Muy floja la pelea final, el round soñado era el giga vs el t rex y el spino, no se a quien se le ocurrió meter al therizi... si escena inicial estuvo bien pero para ponerlo en el final, muy floja está peli, jw 1 no es perfecta pero la pelea final del r rex y blue contra el indomi es excelente y salva el film
