Hoaxers consider technology to be a kind of magic: split neatly into "schools" or "spheres" that are exclusive. To them, receiving data via radio, then forwarding it over the Internet is preposterous, because RADIO and INTERNET are two different schools of magic, and thus, their own common sense tells them that they cannot possibly work together. Just look at how bewildered lunar landing hoaxers are at Nixon making a phone call to the Moon ; It's inconceivable to them how this could work, when phones and radio are different kinds of magic that could not possibly interact with each other.

@@midnight8341 Actually, computer graphics advances were mainly due to the computer gaming industry, which pushed the envelope. I remember the first computer games in monochrome green, then later 4 colour blue, cyan, magenta and white. The first VGA 246 colour was amazing. At about that time the first paint programs arrived, then superVGA. All this pushed by the computer gaming industry. It only branched out to the other industries when they took an interest in what it could do for them. Government and NASA certainly were not the forefront of the development as believed by flerfs.

@jasonpaulbaker1
@jasonpaulbaker1 3 жыл бұрын
@Eremias Ranwolf actually yes I have observed ships go over the horizon (and yes I can confirm they do disappear bottom first) and yes I do listen to flat earthers, just the other day I was watching Dubays documentary and his poor attempt of presenting alternative “theories” about our world. For example, according to Eric, the sun appears to get smaller as it moves away from us, following an apparent circular motion above the earth, which makes it seemingly go below the horizon. However, I noticed some major problems with this claim. 1. Simulating Eric’s model of the sun moving above and around a flat plane doesn’t actually match what we see, I’m happy to provide a scale model myself to show this. 2. This claim doesn’t account for the suns glare, which makes it look bigger during most of the day until it sets or rises again, where the glare isn’t as bright. Observations using a filter accounts for this, which shows the suns actual size doesn’t change as it “moves” across the sky. 3. Eric dubay’s logic FAIlS when applied to the moon, which according to him and flat earthers, is also moving above and around the earth the same as the sun, yet NEVER changes its size as it “moves” across the sky. It’s interesting that he NEVER uses the moon as an example to support this claim isn’t it 😂 again happy to show evidence of the moons consistent shape, even when it’s meant to be further away from us according to flat earthers.

I spotted Jupiter with that telescope once. Pretty sure my eyepiece wasn't focused right, it was blurry, but I could make out it's moons. Eric suffers from an affliction known as “pullum stercore”. He will never debate Dan.

I doubt Eric Dubay could fathom the idea of building a matchstick rocket, let alone something as awesome and successful as the Saturn 5. Good form SciManDan. 🚀

In comments, live chat, etc. I have asked flat earthers to either 1) Make their own "fake CGI" that is comparable to the 4k stuff coming back from Perseverance, or, 2) Show us where on Earth this is being filmed (They claim it's all filmed in Nevada or Arizona).

It is almost kind of sad to see the people like this, they have no hope for the future and believe every advancment is a scam. To them, science gets nowhere and humanities understanding of everything remains stagnent.

My uncle was on-screen in the control room during the landing. He was the older man with the large nose, glasses, and white mustache. His name is Sanford Krasner, and he's the senior software engineer at Jet Propulsion Labs. He's been there since the 1980s and is around 70 years of age. Incidentally, his cousin is Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, the man who assisted in overturning the wrongful conviction of Walter Ogrod. His uncle was Aaron "Ike" Krasner, a well-known figure in civil rights circles. And his son is a USAF acquisitions manager in New Mexico. Basically, if Eric wants to call me a liar and say my uncle is either in on this conspiracy or doesn't exist, my family would like to have a few indecent words with him.
