SCION xB AIR VENT MOD Part 1 of 2

Thanks so much for posting this, I live near a junk yard and plan on stopping by today or tomorrow to look at the 3 eclipses they have so I can do this to my husbands xB that we just got.

For anyone wanting to save their stock vents at 2:07 when he pulls them apart, instead just twist each out opposite about 1/8 a turn and they come apart. There are grooves in each side that snap them together

WHERE CAN I BUY THE NEW CENTER RING? The plastic tabs broke on mine and it just flips around inside. If I could replace the ring (with the tabs) it would be fixed. Please help.

You may want to check ebay, a junkyard or google.

@@OilandGears I found the part number for the one clip. A dealer online helped me find it.

Good stuff, was too lazy to go through putting them in properly so I stuck em on top and fits like a glove 😁

I need this for thw side vents when i put the heater to defrost and leg setting it blows out of the vents even just on the leg setting. This would help a lot

Looks good but im curious to know about the other vents in the dash ......how easy is it to install them
