You create such great content Sciz! Hear me out, what about using the ArtPrimo white Marsh ink in the Pentel Shorty? Also, I realize that you are in Canada (they have entirely different laws) but if you can get your hands on a blunt syringe (Amazon) then you can engage the actuator while then pumping in the refill ink. Not sure if it will work but it was an idea that I was kicking around. It's crazy timing that you made this video because these issues just started coming to mind as I'm about to crack open my first Pentel Shorty. Thanks man! You're awesome!

That's an ingenious sounding trick for the refill! I'll have to try that cause that sounds awesome! As for the marsh ink, it should work? Work a try I think haha

@@ScizGraffiti thanks man. I only mention the ArtPrimo white Marsh ink because Magic ink (white) is a rare find and the OTR Correction ink/fluid is a marker/mop killer (from what reviews say). By the way, a white ink show down (flow, buff and mix) could be an interesting video.

I will say the number one major difference between those two markers is the noise level when using them. Both come with the shaker ball, but the Pentel shaker ball moves around loosely while OTR Shaker ball moves in a confined space so it won’t rattle as much. You can always take out the ball from the OTR bullet if you’re not a fan of it.

Pentels just dont work for me, they never get juicy always streaky and the white paint is not that solid... time after time I've kinda just given up on them, rather use a silver uni or just a streak

Px30s come with a lil under half filled with paint and if u flare the pentel nib and give it a few pumps before using it u can get a tiny bit of drips it’s a pretty juicy marker but you do you!

Yo Scizzy! I bought a bottle of correction pen "ink" but it seems to have dried out.. should I just use alcohol to loosen it up?

Man if you're talking about the speed white I've found that correction pen fluid to be really fussy. It completely solidified in a couple actual correction pens and metal heads for me so I've only been using it mixed with some alcohol based inks to be safe. Not sure if adding alcohol straight up would help. Can't hurt though I suppose

It's a pretty common one among Graffiti shops but I know art primo has them for sure if you're in the US. For Canada a few smaller shops have them. I'd expect most other places to have them too but I can't say I know for sure since I rarely order from over seas

Anyone know what kind of ink holds its color while mixed with the stock formula? Ive mixed blue pilot ink into it and it made some sick shades of blue but the color didnt hold outdoors, within a week the blues were basically an off white with pretty much no resemblance of blue at all ....

it also also streaked less. But it is a hard comparism. The OTR Paint is kind of thick and should be thinned down a bit for perfect flow/results - the paint in the shorty marker from the smell might even have some oilbase, but for me the paint in it is always super liquid and pretty opaque without adding the inkredible ink. They barely work for me@@ScizGraffiti but it still has a great size. Prefer the bulletmarker. Its one of OTR best products in my opinion. The one with the original Chrome formula was very similar to the px 30 - cheaper and had more paint in it just the chrome was a little bit less shiny.

While its a nice marker to me it seems like the original paint / ink in it has to be shaken for 3 hours before its that nice white we all know and love. I bought 2 of them on eBay and was disappointed. It came out just clear then yellow. An hour later after my arm cramped up it FINALLY became white !!

Yeah that's tje case with a lot of whites for sure especially with pump action bullet tips. I do think it's a bit harder to mix tje shorty too since the reservoir is so small. Not much room to move the formula around in there
