This stuff has got to be the best value product on the market, having a bottle of blue and red handy always gives you options to change or intensify other inks and paints. I took a white Uni, which are pretty bad. Added about a dozen drops each of red and blue pen fluid, plus a small splash of turpentine to make sure it could still flow properly and got a nice creamy purple. Tried the same in a gold Uni but it doesn't work so well, the ink and metallic paint wick off the nib at different rates so you get very inconsistent writing. Added half a dozen drops of red to a correction pen and got a pastel pink. That's definitely a great application for this ink. I have a rollerball with thin ink in it which is too prone to flooding on anything without the right texture, so I'll try adding some pen fluid to thicken it up. Something I'd like to see is Grog Booster plus ball pen fluid. Maybe in another ink base, or just alcohol.

Yeah those are all great ideas and this stuff becomes even better value for money when you're using it with those whites. It definitely doesn't take much to change a white. What you're saying about the Grog would be interesting to see. The problem with the powder that they have is just it's..well... a powder. And it's annoying to work with cause of that. The bottled concentrate is just way easier to work with!

When these first came out I decided to pick up a blue and red. I threw quite a bit of the blue into a u mark metal head (probably 60% paint and 40% ball pen fluid). It was super thick, staining, and even flowed out of the marker better in my opinion. This is probably because of the thick paint just became thicker with it.

i like the ballpen fluid, it smells and feels like the original ballpoint goo. i did mix it with white to make a nice opaque light-blue paint, and while it's looks great, it does burn out very fast in sunlight. after a month the tags were pure white again. maybe i need to add the buff stuff too :D

Love your videos bro just want to say one thing, and take it with a light heart because it’s your channel and you can do what ever you choose obv!! But you should start reviewing a bit more low key brands, Mefians, Jet shit, Devastator maybe even just fade bomb. I know there’s a lot of vandals that want to see the best ink/paint to use in the streets. And it deff won’t be grog otr krink etc since I guess they stay away from as harsh chemicals. Oh and Fat ink, the black ink that turns like lime green/yellow right after writing. The buff tests on the Mefians fuck the buff and Devastator will be like no other buff test video you’ve made. Serious quality. If you showed those and how they work in the wild against sun and buff even just something you can leave outside would be sooo sweet and I know it wouldn’t be just me waiting. Also I legit can’t find one review video on the Molotow red or purple cocktail or any colour other then black being used in a pump action, would love to see how it works. What's crazy is I've been making my own ink wit acetone and ball pen ink for years and adding alil zylean cuz I let most the solvents evaporate and yeah it's kinda a ghost monster I mean it's a super messy clean up for the buff man and unless black or soild gray buffed painted itll ghost. It ghosts thru a coat of killz as well

Yeah I actually tend to learn quite a lot about the different formulae when I'm buffing that testing surface each time. I was thinking of maybe even filming when I buff it each time and posting the results sort of as a KZbin story each time cause I think it's super good stuff to see that'd be useful for a lot of people like you're saying. If it's for alcohol paints/inks I'd love to see both colors mixed up with purple PVC primer, that stuff sticks to EVERYTHING but has poor UV resistance. It'll even stick to SILICONE, and NOTHING sticks to silicone. With some real strong carrier solvent like PVC primer I bet this stuff in a pump marker would basically make the Purple Sharpie From Hell, assuming it doesn't eat the gaskets or the plastic in the marker anyway - the solvents in that primer are no joke.

Btw the longer a tag sits there the more itll ghost and if it's in the sun then even more it like bakes the stain in even on like machined steel that kinda ink when it sits and heat is slightly involved it really stains

They make this powder that you can get and it's like super black I'm not sure what it is but it says not to get it on your hands or anything and it's an additive that you add to your ink that's supposed to make it even more resistant. But what you do is you add it to some acetone first and then shake it around you just have to add a little bit of the powder I mean of course it says if you want it to be more permanent add a little more but you only get like a gram of it. I forget what it's called but it's similar I think to the Grog booster O8 SKI. Apparently two like adding brake fluid to your ink is supposed to make it stain a lot. I tried this other brand called illidel ink and I think that's maybe what they used but even with like the cap closed on the ink on OTR marker and being in my pocket it just stinks so bad like I could just smell it all around me as the marker was in my pocket. I can only imagine other people coming around me and smelling it. And I still have the bottle of that I just haven't used it ever since just because it's too smelly lol.

Yeah I was picturing something like the grog booster stuff from your description. I have heard that brake fluid can really up your ink from several people but I've never actually put the effort in to make any lol. Definitely both good ways though to make something even more permanent

I'd be careful putting it in a marker with a nib like that just cause the ball pen fluid itself is quite sticky so if it's not mixed really well some of the thicker part won't be able to travel through the nib. It's probably fine in limited amounts and mixed well though for that

To keep it 100 lol krink red paint mixed with red ball pen ink has been the only fluid I use with a metal tip and yeah its epic its basically not noticable at all until anyone trys to clean it then instantly it becomes a whole insane mess I've seen people just leave the mess instead of trying to continue to wipe it up haha... #classic

I've talked about getting my own work 'buffed' before, but I gotta clarify; No one buffs here. They paint these big ass nasty blue-grey squares over top of the graffiti. It's seriously uglier than dicks on a wall. Good reason for me to use inks. Grog BPI may not be buffproof to chemicals, but my god does it bleed through layer after layer of covering paint.

I used an unfinished version and the finished version in this video as mentioned. Only the finished surface really repels. And in this case the finished surface even gave this formula a chance to shine and STILL leave a ghost. So, although I know it's not the best surface to showcase the permanence of this, the goal whenever I'm doing a buff test is to really test it and not give it a free pass.

@@ScizGraffiti an overwhelming interest in the workings of all things, a curiosity if mixing a dissolved ink and a plastizied pigment suspension changes how it reacts to an ethyl alcohol, sodium acetate and glycerin mix or if it degrades with ammonium acetate and UV. An occasional need to remove minor "tagging". That was that day though, today I am converting a thermoelectric peltier module into a phone charger while doing a refresher on the effects of ethyl alcohol on ion exchange and cell respiration. And the comment simply my personal philosophy on tagging vs activist graffiti vs street art leaking out a little. Here is a little tit for tat for ya though. If you want to redox (oxidation through ion exchange) rust proof or non ferrous metals like titanium it can be done easily with Dr Pepper, foil, and a 9 volt battery. Dr pepper has the highest acidity of the sodas and doesn't contain compounds that will interfere with the process like a cola or citrus soda. As the oxidation thickens it will shift through the spectrum of colors as it changes how the light is reflected off it allowing you to set a chosen "color" based on how long you apply current. You basically make a stencil to put on the surface, place a Dr Pepper wetted paper towel over it and then a peice of foil over that after which you trace it with the battery. Very similar to battery etching with sodium on standard metals except minus the charring and need to run current through the object as a whole. Basically quick unremovable rainbow "rust" application. "Oxidation proof" metals actually oxidize quickly and completely but the thickness of the layer is so thin it barely affects reflected light so we cant see it and the oxidation covers it so throughly that the metal is protected from further oxidation by it. Acid and electric current allow you to breach and thicken this layer to a point that it affects the light reflecting through it and allows you to produce colors. This will not work for things like iron or copper though as the oxidation layer does not seal those metals and does not achieve a uniform thickness.
