To bad we can't say the exact same thing not just their other video games nowadays, but their usual Direct-To-DVD Sequels

I had Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights growing up, and never had this game. Night of 100 Frights is a crappy game. Truly crappy. Just seems unfinished. Boss battles are a complete joke. Missing animations, missing sound effects, awkward mechanics... One boss (the Ghost of Redbeard), you have to get him to throw his sword at four ropes holding a treasure chest over his head. Every time his sword hits a rope, it just disappears, the rope disappears, and the chest teleports slightly lower. That's right, no animation, no particle effect, no nothing. And when it falls on him, the camera doesn't even pan to show it - it just crushes him off camera and the cutscene doesn't even activate until you walk to the door. It's BAD. After that experience, I found out about this game years later (I even have a physical copy I got from a thrift store a few years ago), I was amazed to find that the quality of this game, especially for a licensed game, is good. It's still a bit shallow gameplay-wise, but it does have excellent graphics for the time and isn't terribly awkward to play or glitchy or anything... I personally like it and will have to try actually beating it sometime soon...
