I love how even before the gang has heard any local legends about the villain of the week, they're first instinct is ''AHH! A GHOST!'' Mr. Hyde can't just be a creepy dude, he automatically must be a ghost. A yeti can't just be a yeti, it has to be the GHOST of a yeti. I'm honestly kind of surprised they didn't immediately assume Charlie was the ghost of a robot.

They kinda does. When Scooby can't smell him Shaggy asks who doesn't leave smell and either implied or outright state (i don't remember) that he think he was a ghost. At least he has a logical reason to think that this time.

@@matteopugliese4658 and in Mine Your Own Business, Shaggy feared that the gang would find ghosts in gold city but it was just the Miner 49er. In a Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts, Scooby feared that the gang would find werewolves, and though they did find a werewolf(who only chased Shaggy & Scooby), they also encountered Dracula & Frankenstein & the main villain was the gypsy fortune teller

I owned Season 3 of The Scooby-Doo Show on DVD I knew right away that it wasn’t Where Are You Season 3 based on the fact that they played The Scooby-Doo Show intro. I also think this was a good start to Season 2.

Actually, this is one of my favorite episodes the reason why is because it was kind of cool to see shaggy and Scooby pretend they were in a TV and every time the ghost switch the dial it will change to a different program plus the doors getting smaller definitely a reference to Alice in Wonderland

I would like to see at least reviews of The Scooby-Doo Show and Mystery Incorporated next. I don't know how much Cyd is willing to do since with Scooby-Doo there's just so many different series with different premises including ones that stray away from the horror aspects like The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Shaggy & Scooby Get A Clue that I think it would be best to do just the more well known and well received shows.

Scooby Doo was easily the favorite show of my childhood. I remember running the 8 or 9 blocks home from school every day in early elementary school to catch it, as it aired at 3:30 p.m., the exact time school let out. It was the early 1980’s so the original show was being rerun, but I still loved it. Despite having a very Scooby/Shaggy-like streak of cowardice in my younger years, this show helped shape my love for horror while assuring child me that ghosts and monsters weren’t really real after all. It’s a fantastic cartoon, perfect despite its cosmetic flaws, and if I’d had kids of my own, I’d have definitely raised them watching it! Your love for my beloved series is so moving that I’m finally subbing to your channel after many years of casually dropping in here and there when KZbin recommends one of your reviews! There’s so much more to your content than movie reviews! I wish I’d looked deeper sooner, but better late than never, right? I’m sure I’ll end up subbing to your Ghoulag channel as well; Ghoulash is super funny! Thanks for the loving looks back at one of the most iconic cartoons of all time. Keep up the incredible work, Cyd!
