Jesus, I've been to hell and back trying to pair my old hero4 black to my iPhone. My sessions and my Hero5 no problem but the 4, what a pain. All sorted now thanks to this video. When you know you know, when you don't you feel like a right twat LOL. Even my Removu R1 works now. Thanks Scooby.

@@7s000n ok if you already have it to Connected to Wi-Fi go to the app and press the + to add a new device, you still get to keep what ever you have on your gopro and just follow the directions as it walks you by.

Talk about a pain in the ass. I've never had a device that was such a pain in the ass to pair. Thanks to you I got it done but damn talk about a dumb setup. Get this... I bought my GoPro new in the store, when I went to connect it to my phone it said the name of my gopro was Mike_GoPro. Well my name is not Mike, I don't know any Mike's and have no idea how my camera got named "Mike_GoPro". When I tried to put in the password "goprohero" the app told me it was not the right password for Mike_GoPro. So I had to reset the camera. But how the hell did that happen ?? I bought my camera new at a store. Anyways... rant over, I got it connected thanks to this video.
