Although some of his tracks feature some Hardstyle elements, you can say that overall his music is much closer to Rave, Hard Trance, Handsup & Happy Hardcore (note: the genre Happy Hardcore is not the same as actual Hardcore) than it is to actual Hardstyle or Hardcore. He was never considered a part of Hardstyle, also due to Scooter's big history of stealing many Hardstyle melodies in the past.
