Hey Larry I bought a burgman because of you and have done many 400-500 mile days. 2 weeks ago I took my zuma 125 on an iron butt ride from Dallas to Oklahoma - Kansas - Colorado - New Mexico and home. 1209 miles in 32 hrs and it was awesome! You would laugh if you could see my setup. I made a backrest, seat cushion, usb charging plugs, leds/reflectors everywhere and gps mount. I even glued a garden hose to a 2.5 gallon gas can so I could refuel while riding. Got my 1000 miles in 23hrs 46 min. The last 200 were tough and I had to take several breaks. Can’t wait to do it again...maybe down to the Gulf of Mexico 😁

That is so awesome👍🏻🇺🇸 I love it! I hope to do more crazy stuff when I get closer to retirement. The Zumas are great little bikes! I’m glad you’re getting out and having fun! And I’m glad the videos helped. Ride safe and keep the Rubber side down👍🏻

Great packing video. If I may, two items you may consider. 1. I always keep a Credit card or loadable Debt card in the owners manual on the scoot itself. You never know if you lose you wallet, you will have some Emergency funds to access. 2. I wear a waterproof USB drive shaped as a key on a Dog tag chain with all the info on it, scanned in the JPEG format. ( DL, emergency contacts, insurance card, med list, bike registration , etc, ) Geert job guys.

I put one of those 1980s fanny packs on my 2004 Burgman 650. The strap length was just right to go around the handlebars without interfering with anything, and the bag rests against the glovebox lid (I did get a shorter key made so the bag wouldn't sit on it) I got a bag that has two places for water bottles, so now I have a water bottle within reach, even while I'm riding. I freeze the second bottle so it's still cold in the afternoon. Thanks for posting these great videos.

Larry...Jim again.....Thanks for you mission to further the Mancave Mayhemness across the country. Since most of the Scooters are bought used....would you do a video for us less mechanically included to what to look for and expect to replace if , say the scooter is 10 years old and has 8k miles on it....sitting most of the time (ie. Tires/Belts/Fluids etc????). Thanks in advance! JH

I saw u had a genuine hooligan 170i are they worth buying and would recommend it for a long trip will it do at least 55mph and would u pack it the same way as these scooters ...looking forward to seeing more vids and you guys be safe

We started out with the genuine hula and found that they are kind of unreliable scooters. Especially for the long distance trips that we were planning on using them for. If you’re going with a small cc scooter I would pick one of the big three. Just my opinion. Ride safe thanks for watching👍🏻🇺🇸

My wife and I went from Atlanta to Savannah on one single Yamaha Majesty, for four days. We didn't need anywhere near that much room, we had three pair of clothes and everything we needed. Of course we stayed in a hotel

I was curious how your wife's scooter compares to yours...... Does her smaller cc scooter become an issue when riding together? I mean, can she keep up with the Burgman 650?
