Thank you to this business owner and his employees. AND to all the people buying them to save them from the landfill. These scooter companies (Spin, Bird, Lime etc ) were the biggest scam to recieve venture capital in recent history. Glad there are good business people out there willing to clean up the mess and make some money in the process!

The buyer of all the scooters, is also claiming legal responsibility for the batteries, may be considered hazardous waste. There is real financial liability, if something doesn't work out.

They need to pay electrics, parts, work wages, building rent/mortage, etc. It is not all free after initial $100.

schools do not like that scooters , I was seen them in and around Rutgers University then NO more I believe Rutgers ban use of that scooters , most Homes Student's Use as Dormitory are Old Wooden Houses Storing that scooter in or around that buildings was waiting to become Tragedy we seen many Scooters fires everywhere .

it's great that they aren't going to waste but the ones from China are like $300 new. and you kind of picture this refurbing scooters happening in China because they have the time to screw around with fixing stuff, but maybe the back and forth is too much vs a new one.

Probably for the lock/unlock feature on scooters. Plus, with a proper app, you get access to analytics that wouldn't be available on the little dashboard. Wouldn't be hard at all to bypass this and add a physical or nfc key.
