@@OhSheaPoker Kinda for Bluff, but everyone else was losing anyway unless I'm missing something. He hits, he gets a 9 and busts. Then the 4 Bluff goes over one giving the guy on his right a 14, and Bluff gets the Jack for 21. The next card in the lineup is an ace, which would give the dealer 21 and Push for Bluff and beat the other two. Don't get me wrong, I hate when people stand on 15. 16 I kinda get (still don't do it though) but get the hell away from standing on 15. But it didn't do THAT much in the grand scheme.

Casinos absolutely LOVE when people go against the book. First off they already have a house advantage. Secondly, if you’re going to go against basic strategy and put yourself at a further disadvantage OF COURSE THEYLL TAKE IT LMAO. Dealers hate it because statistics prove you are likely to lose that hand and they don’t get tipped as a result.

@@rorybynum467 To be fair every hit, or stand, affects the shoe. Splitting 10s at a table amongst people you don’t know is a MASSIVE no no as you are likely to be the sole cause of a dealer making their hand causing others to lose at the table. If you’re amongst friends I guess it’s ok but you’re still screwing them over in my opinion. Blackjack is a “team” game and if everyone at the table plays by the book everyone has the best chance of walking away with a profit. If you find yourself at a table where people are hitting 14s and 15s against a dealer showing a 6 that is an immediate get your butt up and walk away sign. You will always lose when you are at a table with people who don’t know how to play. They will hit on the stupidest of hands and make it so that the dealer ends up with 19 or 20 for example and your 18 is now a loser.

you cant call them schmuck bets when splitting tens... and im not saying its not okay to split tens... but usually when someone does the dealer will announce it to the pit in order to inform them ... its usually only card counters who know WHEN to split tens... you obviously are having fun and thats the main idea of gambling and there is nothing wrong with choosing to do what you want with your own hard earned money...

I don’t follow the basic strategy all the time but I never split a 10 especially when splitting them might mess up the card for the whole table. Maybe, if I am playing alone and just want to be naughty. I never double down with my blackjack either. Love to subscribe to your channel but sometimes I feel that you don’t care about the other players in the table, unless it is your money that they are playing with! Goodluck!

Basic game will always provide you the most optimal return (without card counting) so it's generally considered very silly to not especially when it is really easy to play by the book. The house edge is about .5% - 1% if you use basic game while anything else greatly increases that edge. Yeah, its luck...but it's also not roulette (where you have increased payouts on lower odd bets unlike BJ). Why play even more against the odds if your payout is still going to be the same? I will say this: It is his money and I never understood BJ players who belittle people for playing the game how they want. Overtime, having off-the-book players at a table will NOT make a return difference to players playing by the book at the table. The only time I think it is rude to join a table and play (purposely) off the book is when you are doing minimum hands and have higher rollers at the table. You could actively cost someone a big hand in the short term being an idiot.
