What a rock ballad. A song for eternity. One of the most beautiful rock songs I've heard in my life and at the age of 60 and I've already heard a lot of rock songs.

In the late '90s I saw Rapid Fire. Loved "I'll Be There" and "Can't Find My Way". Found out they were on Double Eclipse. Bought in a cassette at FYE. That was the first time I heard "In The Hands Of Time". Then I heard it in an episode of Baywatch. Great power ballad.

I identify with this song, mainly because I also had a dream I spent so long trying to achieve, even my entire 30's and putting so much on hold. Now I'm close to turning 39, I have half achieved my dream and I know I'll fully achieve it, with certainty. Many others including me would say never give up on your dream, and indeed you shouldn't. You will get it, you just have to work hard, hold onto hope and be patient no matter how long it takes.

Debbie Jones I love this whole album too! I consider it the greatest rock album that far too few people have heard. I had the amazing pleasure of seeing Hardline from the front row in a club in OKC back in the day. I went to the club early and met Neal by the bus and personally gave him a rare West German cd of HSAS. He said he didn’t have one, thanked me and said “Come on in and hang out with us for sound check.” Well, that was freaking incredible! Later during the concert Neal did his amazing backbend while shredding his ass off! The rest of the band called him “Papa Schon” which was kinda funny because he was only 38 at the time. After the show Neal and all of the band mingled out in the club with the fans and took pictures with us. It was one of my favorite concerts of my life and at 54 yrs old I’ve been to over 240 concerts. I will always love Hardline Double Eclipse. I was fortunate enough to purchase one of Neal’s personal guitars that he played on while with Hardline. Just because grunge took over in the early 90’s it doesn’t take away from the greatness of this rock album! Marv

Very good album with just some great, straight forward killer songs. The writing is sensational. To think, I became a fan after hearing "Hot Cherie" on the radio. It is so sad to think of the many great bands out there that don't get discovered this way. Radio, and what they play can suck so badly. Sometimes you get lucky, I guess.

Gave me goosebumps then and gives me goosebumbs now. Buying the CD tomorow and will be bugging the satelite radio dj's to play a lot more of these guys. Bon jovi and the like are at the top on the popularity scale but if I hear "living on a prayer" one more time I'm gonna puke! These guys should have been A LOT more popular!

Alright, oh yeah Living every moment, holding on to a dream Staring at an empty page, winter comes to me And I wonder, will the light ever shine on me If it's a mountain I must climb then that's the way it must be Oh, day after day, like a lifetime away, I keep holding on And night after night, I reach out of sight from it all Oh day after day, I won't walk away from this dream of mine Whoah yeah, it's in the hands of time Living every moment, with a dream burning bright Never stop reachin' when the dream shines its light Will I take it for granted, when the tryin's all set and done Your's the pain of rememberin' fragrant dreams are one Oh, day after day, fight the storm, sing a pray and keep holding on Night after night, I'll be your light on your way Oh day after day, I won't walk away from this dream of mine Whoah yeah, it's in the hands of time (Solo) Day after day, like a lifetime away, I keep holding on Night after night, and I'll be your light on your way Day after day, I won't walk away from this dream of mine Whoah yeah, it's in the hands of time

Corrections: *And night after night, _out of reach_ out of sight *Oh, day after day, fight the storm sing _or_ pray *_whoa_...not "whoah" There's probably more, but this is only what I caught on the first playthrough.

I know, I’m being kind of ridiculous or maybe overly creative, but I feel like a pipe organ an orchestra a marching band and choir would make this. It would basically make you SOB that that happened.!! I have a tendency to add sounds in my head to songs like this. But I mean the songs already talk to the heartstrings bud when you add those things I bet everyone would burst into tears because it’s in everyone of their heartstrings would be shredded. Just like fucking Eddie Van Halen dose!
