@@Boat3d i was doing a spin to win axe of thanatos run. it is kinda funny that axe is viable scorch weapon now. Rebuke Vow is free fear for Scorch runs.

@@Boat3d i got the psychic whirlwind hammer and the furious whirlwind. I was spamming 3 whirlwinds at same time applying like 3000+ scorch. crazy good.

@@Boat3d i did like 20 runs of dagger last night. I concluded that poseidon is kinda weak right now and that new meta for daggers is hestia. Hestia+Hera engagement ring is just so good right now that it is best thing to run on dagger currently. the 3rd god to get is demester for freeze burn. Zeus is really good right now for staff. his ionic gain boon is infinity mana for staff. blitz is good for the omega special spam aspect. Skull still uses Hera. Born gain is easily still best boon for skull because skull is all about spamming mana attacks and scaling mana. It is also one of aspect that is really all about raw damage, so Appolo's exceptional talent and Demester's weed killer are best boons. Axe is weird in this patch. Hestia fire axe is meta but unlike other aspects that focus on status effect, Axe focuses on raw damage with its omega move. So demester weed killer and Appolo's exceptional talent where fire debuff is just kinda.... "extra" if that makes any sense. Heph and Poseidon just feel like terrible gods in this patch where as aphrodite feels like "4th support god".

I am trying to beat 32 fear now and my most succesfull attempts included Hestia, Demeter and Dite...I am only learning to work with Hera cast, also. Not sure I am ready to turn on zero healing but your video def gave me some ideas how to improve my build so thank you

the easiest way to beat 32 fear for newbie player is to keep health regular and keep damage regular. only turn the "100% damage on the first strike on" then restrict all your scaling. put Onion vow, mana vow, vow forsaken, 7:00 timer. +2 rebukes, enemies from different region fear, Gold cost up by 80%. Put hestia keepsake on and get Pyre technique+Fire attack. Torch is easiest weapon to win with imo because it is safest form of scorch application from range. depending on how bad you are, you will win eventually. it just depends if it takes 10 tries or 30 tries.

@@dodang_9147 I am not a total newbie, I managed to beat 32 heat with all weapons in Hades 1, sometimes twice, but at the moment I find vows a bit more challenging because pumping bosses up in the first game was the easiest way to get almost half of the necessary heat. I did try using 100% damage on and immediately lost 1 DD :D My usual style of playing is pretty aggressive and reckless so I prefer to protect myself as much as I can so zero healing and max damage in any form is def not for me :D so in this game the only thing I can do is restricting myself from magic as much as I can, as you mentioned, ye... But I will def try Scorch more! Pan aspect + Scorch carried me to the second phase of Chronos but the timer killed me (shouldn't have used that much omega moves tbh and just spamming ordinary Special) :c But I basically have no choice in this case, deadline is almost free fear if you are lucky enough with boons and rooms. Hera cast helps a lot to destroy enemies faster but it's hard with onion vow to get enough boons sometimes but I will bite my way through it mostly bc I have nothing to do in this game rn kdsjfhdgkjh waiting for more content

@@tristezaeternal You only need two boons with torches. Fire attack boon and Pyre technique at purple or higher rarity. The arcana cards are also kinda important. use fill 3rd row. Run Unseen. take +3 roll for boon/room. Health on every room, Max health. divinity(+20%) epic boon and +5 hp/+5 mana should be unlocked. Huntress and 5% dodge should also be taken. It has never been easier to do fear 32 than this patch. The last boon you want to get is Zeus Ionic gain. This is not priority boon but it gives you infinity mana. you'll probably unlock this boon in area 3 if lucky enough to get zeus offered. Slowcooker is also really good, duo demeter boon. Not really priority and not really important but good if acquired(Put arctic ring cast in attempts to get it). Dagger is good weapon but on fear 32, it is kinda trash because the clear speed of special is really bad for deadline. With torches, you just spam primary, it pierces everything and everything dies. dagger main issue in 32 fear is ULTRA bad early game. dagger needs A LOT of boons to be good but if you play dagger, you have to turn on all those damage modifiers OR turn on 0 healing mode. that's pretty hard for average player. You can't run vow of arrogance to destroy your mana pool with dagger or Onion vow or Gold vow. You need to keep your scaling intact and build strong boon combos but this relies on you never getting hit since 0 healing +high damage = bad. the smallest mistake is loss run. with torches fear 32, you play the game with normal health modifier and normal healing. it is same game with just faster attacking enemies and less boons as fear 0.

I wonder : let's say you go for Elementary Particles and you get Hera's, Hestia's, Hermes' and a water and air infusions (like Demeter's and Aphrodite's) before you get the duo boon, would it be possible to have ALL infusion boons in one run ?

The orange number is how much scorch you have stacked on an enemy, it does damage over time much like poison in many traditional games
