Feeding all the Titan Blood lying around to the Infernal Arms couldn’t have been conducive to Chronos’ resurrection, either. The Fates must’ve seen this coming, so they put events into motion that had the best chance of healing the rifts between the Olympians and the Underworld, and strengthening the House of Hades enough for a chance to bring down Chronos.

Moros does imply that everything Zag did was fated and that’s why he got the fated list as well, so that he could heal the rift between Olympus and the Underworld, allow Mel to be born, get Chaos involved via reconnecting her with Nyx and set back Chronos’ resurrection by collecting Titan blood

Look how they're standing btw. Thanatos is casting his delayed death spell, Zagreus is hitting a dash strike (because what Hades 1 player doesn't immediately dash strike in a boss battle). Megaera is casting something too - calling the Erinyes. Dusa is running for help. Achilles is standing beside his student, probably about to do the throw - dash that his spear can do. Persephone is in the back probably casting a spell as well. Note that Chronos had to gank Nyx first because she has the ability to overpower even gods (titans too?)

I'm pretty sure it's the titan blood we collected throughout the first game as Zagreus. It's specificied in-game that nobody knew whose blood it was, but it has the same halo thingy around the blood as the halo around Chronos, so....

The weapons are described multiple times as being ‘semi-sentient’ and the fists at least are described as making their users more violent and brutal. In game, it seems they’ve been relatively unused since they butchered Chronos and his army, so what better way to see more action than to resurrect the greatest foe they faced?

While I can understand an argument for Titan's Blood, I think he's referring to the Saytr Cultists that invaded the Temple of Styx doing Blood Sacrifices to resurrect Chronos rather than sacrificing Titan Blood to the Infernal Arms. This is further reinforced by Chronos having, what seems to be, golden sands of time running through his veins, as evidenced by his scarred body, his death where he fades away, and the Zodiac Sand he drops upon death. In short, I do not believe Zagreus is responsible for the rise of Chronos, though that is a compelling theory.

And Megara is the Fury that punishes those who commit patricide(killing one's father). The three crimes that Hades's generation committed when they slew Chronos during the Titanomachy. The very Wrath-filled, patricidal murder that caused the Furies to be born from Chronos' spilled blood.

More than likely, the Satyrs in the Temple of Styx were responsible. Zag’s actions probably delayed the resurrection, both by slaughtering the cultists, and by feeding the Titan Blood to the Infernal Arms, depleting the stuff that was laying around Tartarus that Chronos could use to reconstitute himself.

#READ TILL THE END# I have one concern with the game: Father of Zeus, Hades and Poseidon was not the Titan of Time Chronos, he was Titan of Chaos - Kronos. Titan of time Chronos was not even a titan, he was a Primordial being. But I understand the confusion, so don't worry, I don't trying to implement hatred towards the game. The game itself are good, it is just only this particular part of the script are troublesome for me.

Until someone from Supergiant directly defines what’s going on, everything we say is pure speculation… but remember that a recurring theme in the original Hades game was the unreliability of the written mythos, which was itself an acknowledgment of the actual state of the Greek mythos where there are multiple versions of many of the stories out there (sometimes with completely different conclusions). One of my favorite side stories in Hades is between Zagreus and Dionysus where they decide to pull a practical joke and tell Orpheus that they’re the same person, which Orpheus thinks is so great that he goes and tells everyone… and refuses to change the story even after Zag directly tells him it was a joke. This is a direct reference to the fact that while precious little actually exists as far as real world myths about Zagreus aside from him being the son of Hades… but even in the small volume of stories there was still a version out there that says Zagreus is actually Dionysus. So using Chronos and Kronos as the same being could come from the idea that it was actually an unreliable storyteller spread the false tale that there were two different beings with very similar names. 😆

Because the only way he wins is picking off the Cthonic and Olypian gods separately. Out of the Primordials, Nyx is both more likely to take an active role in things and side against him, so he needed to neutralize her first. He wasn’t going to get a chance to do that after he reveals himself by attacking Olympus. Plus, by seizing the House of Hades, he can bolster his forces with the wretches that oppose the current order, something that is important because he doesn’t know how much of his old army is able or willing to rally to his banner.

I mean, as a fan of Hades 1 myself, and been playing non stop hades 2. I can say, yeah the original characters were better, even the story though, but i kinda like this game, is not that bad and includes a lot more features than the first game. Though I admit that the attributes system kinda sucks, and the fact that the game kina lost his charm. But other than that is a very good game. And still, I wanted to remind you that the game is still in polishing process, so give it a try at least when it's completed.
