Thylacoleo are great, it was the first time I used them in caves. They return a lot of organic polymer if you used them in the Desert cave. BTW you can avoid the jumps in that cave if you turn right in that room and climb the wall.

One fix i really hope they include is console specific. On Xbox Series S we haven't been able to see drop beacons since the release of SE. All other platforms have a setting for Global Illumination and only have to set it to medium or better to see the beacons. Series S players have been at a disadvantage since launch. We're SoL until they either add the settings option for us or release an overall optimization.

Hi Tiia, if you asked me about 3 weeks ago all of those fixes would have been amazing. At his point in time it's a bit too late to be excited for any of them. I'm also not convinced we're getting this patch this week either and would not be surprised if it ended up being bundled with the patch for The Center... Unless that also gets delayed.

Totally agree with you. We are 3 Weeks away from Center release. The cert delay didn't help and a majority of players have had their fill of SE already. Server player counts are down by half even on weekends, when before you couldn't even log in due to 70/70 during EVO. As for further delays on the patch and new map, It seems everything WC does is always 1-3 months behind...

And dropping the premium mod portion NOW doesn't make the situation any better. As bug fixes should never have taken a back seat while they desperately tried to make paid mods a thing.

Glad about everything except Ark Additions. I really don't like those creatures (the Concavinator in particular is the most annoying thing in the world if you're in desert biomes a lot and IMO, the Fasolasuchus basically replaces it anyway). But I very much look forward to fewer storms and the Thyla jump fix.

I wonder how they will fix black pearls on Scorched. I was getting them by making the sand transparent so I can spot the worms easier. I did some testing without that and you dont see the worms unless they move. So you need to move slowly in aggro range to spot them if you want to do them legit. Hopefully the worms will be easier to spot, not just drop more pearls. Or they will add more ways to get them. Also Alpha worms drop 20 horns, they need to drop pearls too...

Pheonixes produce pearls in inventory instead of dropping on the ground? A lot of assumptions that deathworms will be the vector, but Dollie never mentioned them..

@@amile3643 Phoenix still drop pearls on the ground, I have 2 of them and so far only white pearls have drop.

I've been collect black pearls from deathworms for the last few days now. It's tough because I have to track them down, which can be a pain. I'm playing on PS5, so I can't use the sand transparency trick. Maybe you can, but I'm new to ARK.

Thyla patch for me is the best one, didn't realise the fire wyverns was a thing, just thought I was rubbish on fighting on wyvern back. might be able to raise my poison one now as getting milk might be a bit easier :-) (for easier I mean I'll just take a bit longer to die horribly ;-) )

The Island map has no jellyfish spawns ASA. Can’t make shocking tranq darts for taming.

was there any word on a fix for the platform saddle bug? Any structural damage taken its also given to the dinos health pool, making anything with a structure on a platform saddle die very quickly

The black pearls patch is not a boost its a nerf. They disable the way to spot them so it does not matter then spawn a bit more. Its now near impossible to get a usable amount of black pearls.

Did your tribe do some bosses? I was on the island last week doing notes and I dont think I saw TP's at the Viking base. BTW Manticore is a lot easier than dragon if you are missing some the dragon engrams.
