Civil engineering students u should look for subjects like maths, aptitude, geotechnical engg, transportation engg, environmental engineering .. these 5 can fetch u around 40-45 marks easily... Apart from that, subjects like hydrology, open channel flow and survey are easy and u can get 60 marks by doing only this much subjects...

For Civil Engineering.. Focus on 1. Maths 2. Apptitude 3. Geotech 4. Fluid mechanics 5. Transportation 6. Environmental engineering Remember.. Whole of Major subjects are not easy. Try to leave some topics from Major subjects which are asked rarely. Some of minor subjects like Hydrology, Geomatics are very easy. Get rid of all of them.

Been preparing for state engineering services (civil) for last 1 year (2021 graduate) but now targeting gate for a good mtech course. Will be using this strategy, I've exactly 92 days for gate 2023. Let's see how much I can pull up. I've good concepts theoretically and formulas are memorized because of my state psc preparation, but questions level would be different and higher in GATE. For electronic student---> ✓maths and apti ( try to solve 100%) ✓network, control system and signal and system (very easy and scoring sub) ✓analog and digital circuit ✓electronic device ✓communication and electromagnetic ( do basics only since time is short and these subs demand some deep preparation) ✓solve previous year question paper ✓try to give atleast one sectional mock in a day and full mock in a week. Lastly all the best to all.

If you don't have 50 days, then you can check yourself by preparing two subjects maths and aptitude which is weightage of 10+15= 25 marks and don't attempt another question and wait for result. If u will get marks b/w 17 to 25 then go for gate 2021 preparation otherwise leave it.. you have a great chance this year to check yourself ....Thankyou so much , I hope you like my information.
