I wish, wish, WISH we had a market/mall like this near me. 😢 I would have so much fun browsing and buying. PS: I saw the Czech pitcher on your first pass and thought it was beautiful. But, then I said to myself, “Joc went right past it, so it mustn’t be anything special. My eye isn’t as good as hers.” But, then you went back for it! I’m proud of myself...I’m learning to recognise things just a little bit. Yay!

For those of you too young to know - the TV light from mid-century. The picture on old TV was not viewed well in a highly lit room, so at night especially you turned off lights to watch TV, but still needed some light - hence the TV light, which was an artistic low lite lamp to sit on the TV so you could see to change channels etc that did not generate enough light to wash out the picture!

I just love that stoneware. So pretty. Also the square cast iron pan. I think they call it a chicken pan to fry chicken. My bet Andrew doesn't like a mask (like me) but he doesn't want the Karens yellin at him. I have the same as the blue murano but in maroon. It is marked bavaria but is exactly the same. Tip, because it makes me nervous with a metal cart and all that glass, to bring a piece of rolled felt fabric to put on the bottom of the cart. When I go to an antique shop, that’s what I do when they have carts. I just saw a post after I posted this, that this video is a year old. I’ve been watching your videos for years, and I don’t recall watching this. My mom had all those MidCentury Modern stuff. My dad made the end tables.

I bought the same Murano Cobalt Vase the last hour of an Estate Sale for $7.50. Because of you I thought it was well made and maybe worth something. I have it listed on Etsy for $84.99 free shipping but it’s been sitting for 5 months. I wish I had antique booth prices like you
@timjb196214 жыл бұрын
I was almost yelling when I saw you contemplating the Roseville Pinecone Vase. That price was sick! It is genuine for sure. Like everything else, Roseville prices have dropped from what they were. You should get at least $65 to $85 for it depending on condition. With your platform, maybe even a bit better. A nice find.
