1970 Honda Trail 90 Facebook marketplace deal. I was fortunate enough to score this beautiful CT90 awhile back for a great value. Lets see if we can get it running and fix a few of its minor issues.

I just found my dream machine. A 1969 Honda 90 with 417 total miles, original tire, 1969 license plate. decals, and not scratch on it. Started on the first try. I am 75 and feel like 14 again. I wish it was red though instead of yellow.

What knobby tires are on that? I also have a 1970. I'm having a hard time finding a correctly sized knobbys in 17". Thanks.

I ended up taking them off and putting some more street friendly tires on it. I think I still have the knobby ones in the shop. I will check what they are and let you know.

I have shinko 244 17x3.0 tires waiting to be installed. Might need fender mods to avoid rubbing. 17x2.75 is a great size if you dont wanna worry about fitment.

Interesting question. I would say getting a bike that needs a little work for a price that allows me to put some time and money into it and then resell to someone for what they consider a good deal. Allowing me to make a little on top to cover my time and effort. Hope that makes sense.

No, I rarely get titles with my bikes. Doesn’t seem to be as common in NC as it is in other states for these older small cc bikes to still have valid titles.

Can you get a new title? I’ve had to do that in the past

@@azorianification Yes, you could do the Vermont loophole. My state makes its complicated with a Notarized BOS, DMV theft inspection and a 3 year bond and other paper work before you can even apply for a title.
