I absolutely adore all the small and subtle details, from Jocat putting the sword in the ground, to the soft movement of the items moving when stuff is grabbed from the crate. The birds flying in the background once a smite is done, and the balls that are bounced off the shield ending up in the trees. By far one of my favourite Animations!

Fun fAct, my character almost died once because he was stuck in a barrel and another player used Eldritch blast on it to try and break the barrel. Appearently, since its force damage, it goes through stuff. And thats how the wild magic kobold almost died the *first* time.

Jocrap is a good teacher. At the begining, when Jocat is blocking smite, he needs to stand himself up with his sword, but later one, he is blocking the smites and the eldritch blasts while standing upright

It actually depends on how little time Jocat has to react- when it comes immediately after cutting, he blocks it standing. If he sees JoCrap wind up, he braces and sticks his sword in the ground.

God the amount of detail in the purple balls landing in the trees in the background, JoCat’s expression when about to parry JoCrap’s attacks, when the sand bags being chopped and the bottom half with the sand falling to the ground, it’s just so incredible. Keep up the awesome work JoCat!

I love the subtle choices in the animation. From the different ways JoCat blocks the smites depending on the amount of time he has, to the fact that the deflected Eldritch Blasts veer off in different directions, to the fact that each different item that Gobbo throws has a different effect when cut (the watermelon has a splatter, the sandbag has a dust cloud, the wheat has small particulate), to the fact that the purple balls land in the trees whenever JoCat deflects them, to the birds that fly out of the trees whenever JoCrap performs a smite. You put so much work into this, and it shows.

I love Jocat’s progression throughout this, most noticeably with how his blocks become far more confident as he stops kneeling and needing the sword to anchor him. Also got some balls to not just block, but parry an Eldritch Blast 😂
