It's definitely a push and pull, and you have to trust your instincts when you're scoring a scene that goes from slower to faster moments and then back again, especially a film like this where it switches between awe and frantic desperation. Very well done man. Highlight for me was around 2.24 when the monster moved when the clouds started to appear and temperature changed. Good composition.

I'm so happy to hear that - I definitely was going for a huge, orchestral fantasy sound that we often hear in the trailers for Pixar films, and Disney films in general, and I'm happy to hear that I've more or less nailed that sound. Thanks for watching!
