You always have the best quality videos to learn pickleball! I’m still a beginner but feel like a 5.0 until I hit the courts 😂

Love this! Especially foot work. It’s often not talked about in coordination with strategy. Thanks.

How about serving wide, then driving the 3rd quickly down the middle off the short hop of your opponent's return? Or, does that have too high of a risk / reward ratio?

You have to time it so that you can be decelerating before you get there and hit the ball.

I watch these vids but a lot of the stuff is just funny. He states you have to feel where the ball is going so you can start moving when you know your shot is going low to the feet. Really? You think someone that knows where their ball is going at contact actually needs your green light red light strategy? Anyone that has that much control/feel off the paddle already knows/understands that strategy. Honestly and I’m not being mean, that strategy isn’t useful for anyone that has the ability to hit short balls, they already have that figured out. That strategy is only useful for people that can’t control their ball and can decide when they see where’s it’s going. If you really want to help people, you have to first understand who your audience is. Strategy for beginners is for people that hit the ball like beginners, intermediate for people with some control over their hits, expert strategy for expert hitters. Just some constructive hints.

I think it could be helpful for people like me. I've only been playing for a few weeks, but have many years of tennis, squash, ping pong and badminton experience. So I have decent shots, but little idea when to use them and when/where to move. I'm sure this doesn't apply to all beginners, but I bet quite a few have experience with other racquet sports.

But in the first several minutes of this video you are not serving. So, I'm confused.
