Fun fact: Playable Scorpion and Kameo Scorpion are two different characters in MK1. The playable one is Kuai Liang, he is not a spectre and doesn't use hellfire but uses fire magic instead. The kameo one is our OG Scorpion Hanzo Hasashi, the spectre who uses hellfire.

The Deadly Alliance version has always been my benchmark for Scorpion, but I did really like the MKX model; the muted, desaturated colour palette in that game worked really well for him.

Giving us a duo of good big bads, killing Liu Kang, the two unarmed individual styles + unique weapon style, approachable combo system, great character models for the time... that was a favourite of mine. Unpopular opinion: MKvsDC has the best version of Scorpion. I felt that game did the best job at keeping the reminiscence of the classic outfit (with the quilted design) whilst adding some modern twists to make him look dark - with that really cool mask. Overall, this version of Scorpion is the most vicious-looking with that scary demeanor which I felt was slightly lost in MK9. 10/10 character design. Oh yeah, great video too!
