We played with them together too. There were 2 orchestras whom they played with. And recording after that. Great band and so very professional, both - music & technically. We enjoyed playing together so much and repeated many times. It was in August 2001. Audience was just next to a sort of delirium about the fantastic level of the group's performance, memorable show, really!

I never knew Scorpions did this! Metallica did this same thing in San Francisco back in 1999 with the San Francisco Symphony. They released an album and video Metallica S&M. Literally THE BEST ALBUM they ever did. Scorpions doing one with a symphony is one I need to own now too!

I usually HATE things like this ... but this ROCKS!! Scorpions (& others) have made music about bringing the world together forever. This really does bring people together.
