As a German Kid the Scorpions introduced me in Rock Music when i was a pretty young kid . For my parents it was kind of a scandal their kid loved that music ...lol . But up till today im still in love with that kind of music . The Scorpions created a unique sound during the years . If you listen to a song of them , you will know at once " Thats the Scorpions " . lol . And yeah.. you are pretty right , Ryan ...Alice Coopers Sound is also unique. Maybe thats the recipe for this "long time success " .... Love to hear they are all still healthy and able to go on . Fun Fact : Most here in Germany barely realized they were Germans....until they showed up on a German show and talked German ....lol . Next day we heard it eeeeeverywhere " Did you know they are Germans ...blabla " . Its was really funny . But they had same issues with Warlock/ Doro Pesch . In that time , german bands were singing german... that was normal and pretty common. So for most here it was clear: " They sing English ..they must be English or American " ..daaaaang ... lol Another fun fact : Both are coming from deep in the West of Germany ...my area .. a mindopen area , multicultural etc . And i have to say : We are still proud here on them .. Tc Ryan ... cy in June here in germany ,.. just bought my ticket .. ;) cy there ..or here .. byee

I followed that Alice Cooper Scorpions tour for 4 shows in different states on the East Coast USA in 1996. Someone who I tattooed got me a backstage pass for a tattoo. A red and white vinyl sticker. It got me in and that's when i briefly met Klaus in passing and also Ryan Roxie! I believe he had a skateboard and was heading upstairs for the stage to begin the Alice portion of the show with the band. Then I brashly decided to sneak on stage not meaning harm, and I hid behind a city construction fence prop. I watched Alice take the stage from being on the stage with him from behind! Poor Brian Renfield (God rest his soul) caught me and threw me to the audience rather than kick me out. He was pissed but cool about it. He was a massive Alice fan too and he understood. I need to watch this...hopefully this weekend I can catch up. When I was in high school and worked at a laser tag place called Photon, The Scorpions and Europe (seperately) rented out warehouse space next door. We helped them unload their equipment, run errands, and got to hang out and watch them practice for tours. We played laser tag with them, too.
