South Africa's elite crime busters, the infamous 'Scorpions' are under attack from parliament. .
When the Scorpions uncovered a corruption scandal involving the Deputy President, Parliament realised that the "sting was in their own tail." MPs are now keen to unearth blemishes on the Scorpions' 93% conviction rate. A turf war is also brewing as the police feel undermined by the Scorpions. Extra legal powers allow them to investigate and prosecute their arrests. It seems that success is bittersweet as criticism of their tactics keeps on growing.

The good old days. It's genuinely sad to look back on pre Zuma administration SA videos. Crime was going down, our economy was booming, no load shedding, genuine unity and moving on from the tragedy of Apartheid. 1994 to 2009 were the golden years of this country. 🇿🇦

Sadly the Task Force ace officers were disbanded.. incredible men indeed.. but they weren’t able to prosecute the criminals unlike the Scorpions, leading to many criminals walking free! Thanks ANC!

Taa but sa crimes are deep,these one story a unknown group robbed the police station rifles,bail money,and killed all police in the station,two cops from partrol kiddnaped taken with and shot exe caution style behind a school,apperantly the day before an ATM machine with $ was stolen,the commissioner and other r hapy and shit scared they we're not around until no arrest ,Eve n me I'm scared
