"The Voice of Germany" 2021
Nach den Blind Auditions, bei denen die Talente allein durch ihren Gesang überzeugen müssen und darauf hoffen, dass ein oder mehrere Coaches für sie buzzern, werden die Sängerinnen und Sänger von ihren Coaches betreut. Sie nehmen sich Zeit, um die Talente besser kennenzulernen, ihre Stärken auszufeilen und an Schwächen zu arbeiten. Dabei erhalten die Talente wichtige Ratschläge und Tipps, denn ab jetzt gilt es, sich gegen die anderen starken Musiker durchzusetzen.
In den folgenden Shows müssen die Talente die Battles und die Sing-Offs bestehen. Dabei singen sie gegeneinander und müssen als Besserer hervorgehen. In jeder Folge kommen nur einige Talente weiter, bis im Finale der Gewinner von den Zuschauern gewählt wird.
In Staffel 11 von "The Voice of Germany" nimmt die Soulsängerin und Songwriterin zum ersten Mal auf einem der roten Stühle Platz. Daneben feiert auch Sänger und Songwriter Johannes Oerding sein Debut am Buzzer. Sarah Connor und Johannes Oerding buhlen in den Blind Auditions an der Seite von Mark Forster und Nico Santos um die Gunst der besten Talente.

it's strong mix, meaning he adds a lot of his head voice mixed into his chest voice, causing it to be very high in pitch but also not losing the element of chest and power. The skill is commonly used among singers like Milijenko Matijevik (steelheart) and Nicola Sedda etc..

Für mich jetzt schon der Sieger. Das erinnert nicht nur an Klaus Meine. Das erinnert auch an David Coverdale in guten Tagen. Also. Wer sowas singen kann und das könnte er, steckt für mich einen John Legend, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran und wie all die "besten Sänger der Welt" in die Tasche. Ich gucke seit Staffel 1 , er ist einer der besten ;) Top stimme , wie locker der das gesungen hat, unglaublich. Das war noch musikalisch die beste Zeit 70-80er , da kommt keine aktuelle Musik dran. Höre aber auch gerne Forsti und natürlich Johannes, Johannes ist für mich aktuell der beste deutsche Künstler mit Mark Forster. Hoffe das er ins Final kommt.

This is purely an entertainment show. It isn't an admissions audition for The Juilliard School. And the song selections of the American vocal coaches/battle advisors are mostly nauseating. You can have a world renowned vocalist perform “I’m proud to be an American” and it will STILL sound like utter country rubbish. The R&B selections? Nothing but a bunch of people forced into nonsensical dueling vocal acrobatics.

War eigentlich schon immer so. Herausstechend in der Band war eigentlich immer Matthias Jabs, der wirklich ein exzellenter Gitarrist ist. Das Songwriting bei den Scorpions war/ist da oft einen Tick besser als die solide, abliefernde Handwerksarbeit. Und ich meine nicht unbedingt die Texte...

Ridiculously perfect. First that slight raspy grain, then kicking into headvoice and hitting that falsetto without a single bulging vein or breaking a sweat. Top notch vibrato and breathing technique. Absolutely amazing.

And even the falsetto, to sing these passages in a way that it sounds grounded and established, is pretty good. You can hear, when he sings the encore, the falsetto is not as clear as in the first run through... Anyway, I feel this guy also spreaded such a confidence in his vocal ability and performing this song, considering that you must be nervous also, this was a very very good audition.
