Rudolf was a huge influence in my life, and what he said at the end of this video about keeping things positive even from the negative is exactly the way it needs to be done, regardless of the emotions. Thanks for everything Rudi.

These cats are the real deal. Professional and consummate. The trilogy of a band at it's most creative and inspirational: IN TRANCE, VIRGIN KILLER and TAKEN BY FORCE! Brilliance and contagious musicianship!

they all are awesome, but Uli and Klaus are really, REALLY gifted musicians, so glad to share the same time and world with these people

I'm so glad the organizers of this documentary feel the same. Seeing Klaus and Uli sitting together is like seeing two monumental Gods sitting together telling stories.

I grew up on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation in New Mexico. I Remember the first time I heard the song Black Out, it blew us all away, It was even popular among the girls, which was important because we were in high school and hormones were raging. Much later in life I went back and found the first Scorpion albums and was blown away again. The Scorpions are without a doubt one of the greatest Hard Rock bands of all time, and they are still going. Uli is the shit, period.

It’s fascinating considering his brother Michael is almost the complete opposite. A tremendously talented guitarist/musician but he never stops talking shit about Rudolf and the Scorpions

@@scottricci5063 yeah there’s bad blood. But they choose to deal with it very differently
@scottricci50632 жыл бұрын
@@thelolguy007 for fucking sure. Rudolph is a great rhythm guitarist. Those riffs he came up with on Taken By Force are killer. As he explains, he would read all sorts of music books for inspiration. And Michael, tho a phenomenal lead guitarist likes to take credit for alot of his brother's riffs.
@thelolguy0072 жыл бұрын
@@scottricci5063 I can’t help but think that even though he’s a fantastic guitarist and had/has a great very successful career, Michael is jealous of his brother and maybe regrets leaving The Scorpions and the huge success they’ve had. That’s why he’s always having a go at them as far as I can see. He left the band to go onto greater and bigger things etc but now in the fullness of time we can see The Scorpions have had huge worldwide success and he has had moderate. So perhaps with the benefit of hindsight he might have done it differently

Was laughing about that too, how could Klaus be foggy on memories like Uli driving the van while they followed behind in Rudi's Mercedes? 😂 Roth being the God that he is, it's not surprising at all he has such detailed memories of those days.

Put a Cork in your mouth? Funny! This is a fantastic documentary view of the Scorpions and I’m learning details about their career that I never knew before! Excellent documentary and personal views on their lengthy career. And it’s good to hear Uli Roth’s views and Michael Schenkers! Thanks for uploading!

These docs are great. Much-needed insight into "Taken By Force". It's also wonderful to see Uli and Herman, alongside Klaus and Rudolf. What about getting Francis for the next doc? :)
@ghostdancer23029 жыл бұрын
+PetrosTser Francis is not welcome around them anymore. You may or may not know that he was fired from the band for embezzling money and it's been in the courts in Germany for years. He was either their bookkeeper or was in cahoots with their bookkeeper. He does play in Michael Schenker's band with Herman though these days.

+ghostdancer2302 Yes I remember reading that they didn't part on the best of terms but I had no idea that they weren't talking. Thankfully I had the chance to see him live with Herman and Michael in 2012 ;) :)

+PetrosTser Yes, they're not on good terms. Unfortunately. I've read about it and Eddie Trunk's talked about it on That Metal Show. I saw Francis with the Scorpions a couple of times years ago. Glad you got to see him with Michael in more recent times.

Frank Black thanks for clearing that up, why do Germans do English in feminine way?
@ferrreira2 жыл бұрын
@@markhuru German has defined masculine, feminine and neutral genders, English has not. It can be confusing to a German when they speak. Also, the genders of many nouns in German are switched relative to other languages. I'm a native Portuguese speaker, and some words are switched for example, "Sun" is masculine in Portuguese and feminine in German, "Television" is feminine in Portuguese and masculine in German, and so on.
