I just bought these speakers at Walmart for my pickup truck for under $25/pair. They don't sound too bad. Especially for the price. I have a Pioneer radio with 4 channel speaker outputs, and was only using the factory 5.25" speakers in the doors on the front channels, and nothing on the rear, which didn't seem to be enough. I like my music, and needed more. I had long term plans on installing a subwoofer, but after installing these in small gray carpeted boxes I picked up, and mounting them on brackets high up at ear level in the rear corners of the cab, I don't think think a sub will be necessary. The bass is much improved, and so are the midrange and highs. I'm overall quite impressed with these inexpensive 6x9s for the low price.

Got the 6.5 ones in my s10, better than the stock ones by far. Sad the newer style ones don't have the blue cones. Trucks blue and I just got the 6x9s to run behind the seats next to my 10" subs

These are ok but they need like...... 20 to 200 hours of break in before the lower bass starts coming through. FS starts way up around like 60-75hz but with a lot of breaking in can drop to as low as 30-34hz!

nice test, they are ok I installed them in my car for cheap. the crossover mids are non existant but do the job quite well.

i dunno why they call those 4-way. i've disassembled them and those two little "piezo tweeters" to the sides of the bigger tweeter are literally just plastic cups glued into place with no wires going to them.

I have the 4 inch ones of that brand. dont even try making them play any kind of low frequencies. they start smelling while they dont even move all that much or make much bass. they sound fine in mids and highs though. not bad at all.

i used 2 6x9 speakers as subwoofer in ported box they hitted hard and gived more then 100rms at 1 speaker

You can't use a mid as a subwoofer. Because it's not a subwoofer. You just used it as a mid and are so used to weak bass that you thought it was banging. Lmao

Tried to test decaf songs on smaller box but when hits lower then 35hz its like only air sounds, now i have 2 punches rockfords and 2x bigger box( in 1 video) and does same stuff lower then 35hz and you hear only air pushes but when you put 18hz is like all stuff is flexing
