Concert: Chamber Charms: Night of Percussion

The composition is based on a popular legend in southern Shanxi. In the stillness of the night, a nest of impish mice was astir preparing for a wedding. They were hustling and bustling with the decoration, playing gongs and drums, creating quite a din. Out of nowhere, a cat jumped out and drove the panic-stricken mice to escape in all directions.

取材于晋南一带民间传说。夜深人静，一群精灵小鼠张灯结彩，敲锣打鼓，为他们的兄妹迎娶送嫁欣喜若狂，不料，花猫扑身而来，一惊之下，纷纷苍惶逃去。
