The distillery has been contacting Whiskey Tubers offering “free” bottles in exchange for “free” advertising on their channel. It would cost them $10k to place an advertisement in a magazine. They contacted me but I said “No thanks.”

We, or at least Bart, thinks print media and print advertising is on its last legs. I think sending bottles to reviewers is smart. Our job is to review it honestly and let people know that it was sent to us so they can factor in any bias on our part. I would love to see what you think of this bottle sniper. And I think your review would be the same free or not. That would be a good show. Go buy one, show the receipt and then review that baby.

I agree about print media. I just think distilleries should be giving whiskey tubers their due, which is more than a free bottle of whiskey.

Kamet was made as a joint venture between Peak Spirts and Piccadliy, and now it looks like Indri is entirely a Piccadily product. There is no mention of Kamet on their website.
