In the late 1960s I worked with the man who owned Staffa, and during that time he sold it for, I think, ten thousand pounds. Good to know that it's now in the care of the National Trust. I think it's priceless. A very well-filmed video, and I shall watch more.

my ancestors on my mothers' side originally came from Staffa Island.... grandfather/opa Josef Staffa married Emilia and 5 children one died during WII killed by east german, crossing thru the Rein River/Black Forest don't know what his name was, but my mutter was the youngest "Henriette Staffa" and her other brothers Josef, Ottmar "Otto" and Reiner Staffa

I did this same trip with my daughter with our rental car and stayed near Fionnphort. Mull is very underrated. I enjoyed the beauty of Mull more than Skye.
