In this video, we saw some iconic Scottish sites: Eilean Donan Castle, Glenfinnan Viaduct (where we saw the Harry Potter train!), Glenfinnan Monument, and the Devil's Pulpit (also known as Finnach Glen).

ahhhh....so many good memories, Scotland is cold! The water is cold, the weather is cold but good thing you had the cute Scottish wrap to keep you warm. Loved the Culloden bits - such an important part of history.

We just got back from Scotland and this was such a good reminder that we need to plan another trip! Not scared of hiking so we'd definitely be up to the challenge!

I loved the historic connection and so cool to have a personal family link to these events! Oooh those ancient wobbly steps! I would be so nervous to go up and down them lol. But it looks so worth it when you get to the bottom, what a gorgeous chasm.

Oh it is totally worth it! I wish we had brought an extra set of clothes so that we could have gotten in the water to go up further and see more!

I would definitely stop by and watch that train so cool! Devil's Pulpit really looks dope! The hike looks challenging but I'm up for it.

I hope that you get to someday! The devils pulpit is incredible! The hike itself isnt all that hard, it's just those old stairs leading down into the gorge that requires some caution

How does everything in Scotland look so magical?! and I'm from Europe, so I'm even that impressed by castles. But it just looks special here! and that steam train, wow. It's so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing! I can't believe I haven't been to Scotland yet.

I know! I didnt believe in fairies before, but I wouldn't have been surprised had a group of fairies appeared right in front of me. It is just that kind of place, that it makes you believe! I hope that you get to go

We appreciate you talking about the history of the place! I feel like you can appreciate more the beauty of what you're seeing when you understand it :) Love those stone castles and towers... Everything looks so medieval and green. It must feel like walking through a door to the middle ages! And oh wow, that spot you were standing at 5:48 is SURREAL!

that's probably what I loved most about Scotland, that not only was it breathtakingly beautiful, but that there was so much history to go along with it! I really felt like I had been transported back in time in some places. I absolutely loved the Devils Pulpit! Definitely a highlight of the trip!

The more I watch your videos, the more I want to visit Scotland. This is definitely going on my list for 2020. What time of year did you go?

oh i really hope that you do! There is so much to see! we went May 5-17 and we had abnormally perfect weather! It only rained once on us (and it stopped when we got to our destination to see it). We were very lucky from what I hear, but my friend that I went with said she had gone around the same time in May 2 years earlier and had perfect weather too. So it sounds like May is going to be your best shot weather wise! plus everything is so green, the flowering bushes are everywhere, and all of the baby animals in the fields are adorable! I really hope that you go!

It is so perfect! if you're willing to get wet, you can go further up and get other great views, but I wasnt feeling super great that day, and we were pressed for time. I definitely want to go back to see more and spend more time there. It's right by Loch Lomond.

So cool your family connection with the Jacobite history. I do not like those stairs lol. Why is it called Devil's Pulpit, the color of the water? Gorgeous at the bottom.

I actually made a video about that! :-) It's called the devils pulpit because, back in the days when people were more superstitious, they thought that the red tint of the water meant there was blood in the water, and since it ran passed that rock, they though that that was where the devil came to preach to his followers.
