Another incredible episode! Those waterfalls were amazing, especially Ardessie Falls which I completely missed when I drove past it on my road trip. The Bealach na Ba is so stark and desolate, you did very well to get around all those corners and turns without a scrape! Loved the Isle of Skye, especially that view of the bridges and mountain. Makes me wonder if it's possible to hike up that mountain, looks way too steep but you never know! Looking forward to the final part!

Oh Shawn another one with absolutely stunning Vistas! So happy you took the side trip to Isle of Skye that's just breathtaking.The smaller I don't know if they're brick or what Bridges and that waterfall breathtaking Really all the waterfalls. This whole trip is just that! I'm so sad we only have one more video 😪 The Hairpin turns on the nc500 reminded me so much of the mountains in my home state of Colorado 😆 thank you so much for sharing this absolutely gorgeous country! And as always safe and happy travels!💗p.s. I adore the Sheep everywhere. And they little town where the storefronts were painted pastels I love that with the beautiful background Vistas gorgeous! The pink was my favorite as well! 😆 oh man I forgot to mention the color of the water in certain areas I don't even know what color of blue that is so flipping pretty.. Oh how I want to go to Scotland! Again that is the exact way I would do it I would stay in my van there's always places to get cleaned up. For the exact same reasons you mentioned that pretty much have to do with lodging. Okay I'm sorry I made this comment way too long too. Please forgive😪💗💗

This has inspired me to drive around Scotland. Having done many passes in Europe as part of the Stelvio or bust historic run in 2004, including the legendary Stelvio pass, and the Ceresole Reale (Italian job final scenes road) it has made me realise that there is plenty of stunning scenery in the UK, even if it isn't in great sunshine or has awesome snow capped mountains and glacial waterfalls and rivers.. Fun drinking game. Every time Shawn says God, yeah, free parking, or mentions how cheap something is (like sleeping in the car rather than supporting local b&b's etc) drink a shot..

Did the old man of storr in 1 hour 10 minutes up and down and the Qurraing in 2 hours 40 minutes on the same day about 6 weeks ago, in glorious hot sunshine, in fact I had my shirt off it was that hot. Wonderful views. The most westerly point of Skye by Staffin and Uig is just as spectacular. Get yourself back in the future, you have missed a lot. Also Plockton near the Skye bridge on the mainland is the most picturesque harbour and fishing village i have ever seen, even has palm trees because of the gulf stream. You need a camper van to enjoy it properly.

23:50 but what if you did that in a kilt?
@history_leisure3 жыл бұрын
As an aside, the traten for the kilt I got at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire last year is Isle of Skye. Planning on wearing it on Candymonium if it is my 100th coaster, not sure now as Gatekeeper might evade me again even though I’m working at Cedar Point as well. There are plans through work to do Michigan’s Adventure (Shivering Timbers has reopened from its incident ICYDNK). Still want to do Kentucky Kingdom and get on more Ohio Coasters (plus Jersey Devil at Great Adventure once university starts up again)
