Thanks for this well informed discussion. I’m a Smith with strong Y-DNA matches to the Macpherson Clan. I will be visiting North Inch within a couple of weeks and later to Strath Avon where Henry, the smith settled after the battle. Later I will visit the grave of another survivor, the leader of Clan Chattan, Shaw Mor.
