Anyone notice how absolutely none of the Clan cheifs are Scottish? Incase anyone was wondering how the Highland Clearances came to be.

Eton-educated Scots, many of these clan chiefs

Macdonald of Skye was Scottish, so was the Duke of Argyll where the first clearances happened. Countess of Sutherland was also Scottish.
