The Royal Mile runs alongside some ancient buildings, with some incredible history.
Join me on an early morning tour of the Royal Mile and some of its stories.

Follow my adventures as I travel through the landscapes and history of Scotland. I make quick, quirky and (hopefully) funny content about Scotland's past, people and scenery.
I look for the hidden stories, forgotten people and beautiful scenery of Scotland and try to find the funny in the darkness, obscurity and occasional absurdity of our history.

That brings back happy memories. I'm a Scottish lad born and bred but now living in Sweden. My Swedish wife and I love Edinburgh. Great video.

I love listening to you tell Scottish History tales. I've been following you since Graeme first mentioned you on The Hoof GP a few years ago and I've been hooked ever since.

Loved Edinburgh. Have only done parts of the Royal Mile as the older members of our three-generation family group couldn’t handle the distance and the incline. I was surprised to find out that my grandmother and great aunt had never been there even though they had lived less than a mile and a half from the Castle.

Thank you for the word, "close." That is what we would have sometimes in Chicago with apartment buildings. My uncle's building formed part of one and it was a great place for us kids to play.
