It was a game called Bolt Action. But they used Lego for the silly, and since you can show terrain damage.

you should call it "Brick Battles:1945". Also for the artillery you should make it so every other turn it can attack a 16x16 (or the modular things) and kill everything in the radius.

This is the ultimate gateway to Warhammer. I used to play something like back when I was 7 or 8 with my dad and we would play for hours. Two or three years ago, my dad discovered Warhammer and we wanted to get loads. It was really expensive so we waited a while but got the 9th edition starter box (recruit and elite). Recently, about 6 or 7 months ago I switched to orks and it’s been very fun.
