Hello Ronit - Great video again. I need some advice I was looking to get a road bike, wasn't really sure between an endurance vs all round race bike. Had come down to two models - Giant Defy vs TCR. However, I decided to side with Endurance (based on your previous comment in the Giant Video series) and had made up mind to get the Defy. Yesterday, visited the bike store and saw the addict series - now they categorize addict as endurance and the bike really looks really nice, clean specially with all of its internal cabling. However, the geometry felt a little aggressive from the looks of it. Now here are my two questions : 1) Is the Addict an ideal balance between Defy and TCR in terms of performance i.e. basically I could race on it and still be comfortable over long rides? 2) Is Giant Defy still a better pick in terms of comfort while riding? I ride 4-5 times a week; 30-40 Kms on weekday and 70+ on a weekend; Have done a couple of century rides, next targets are 100 miles, BRMs. Please provide your inputs and your recommendation.

Ronit, nice video. I'm thinking about buying one Addict Gravel bike for two purposes: train on roads during the week (they are not in a good condition - the roads-, my current road bike suffers a lot, and my body too), and doing endurance mixed trainings on the weekend (road+gravel). Do you think it's a good idea? I'm thinking on buying a second pair of wheels with 30c or 32c road tires to put during the week, for tarmac only rides. Do you think this is a good idea? I'm thinking the 46/30 crank might not be enough for that purpose. Thanks a lot.

Let's talk over WhatsApp. +919564527431 if you really want to know stuff in detail. Regardless given your needs an Aspero or Addict Gravel would be quite good. Yes you can swap out for Pirelli P Zero Race tyres in 30c for on tarmac riding. And then off tarmac because the roads are so bumpy and imperfect you can use the gravel bike. But I would like to know in more detail how much tyre clearance you need and stuff like that. Because a Trek Domane (iso speed + 38mm of tc) should also be worth considering if you need (

How do you think about the Scott's endurance bike model? Can I go confortable and fast in a Scott Addict? Thanks.

You indeed can. But I would like to fine tune and suggest a bike for you specific to your needs. Addict isn't like a Domane. It isn't that tall and heavy and is in between a race and endurance bike. Regardless there are as good or even better alternatives from other manufacturers which we should consider so would you mind texting me on WhatsApp at +919564527431. I hope you get the right sized and best bike for ya money.

What about the Scott Addict SE? That's one of the bikes I'm can buy right now

If you want an Endurance bike itself, try going with a equivalent Defy Instead. They are available mostly. Addict SE is a good bike in its own right and you can ofc ride it. Just that Defy rides better.
