It's worth mentioning that the head mechanism and adjustments on the Select and Ascent is exactly the same. I had an Select and shot it well for a short time. Then I bought an Ascent and shot it as good as my Select but it felt much better in my hand with the extra weight of the stainless steel. I then sold my Select and used the money to buy another Ascent as a backup. Fantastic hinges and I've barely touched another release since getting my Ascents, but on rare occasions the moons move on me and that can be problematic while hunting.

Love the scott verge with the click as a wrist release.. punched it a lot.. I got a tru ball sweet spot that I got used to shooting as a hinge from a wrist release within minutes.. I love it, but man the release market is hard on us! You can't really try them.. they are expensive as hell.. fittemen is an issue as you don't know what size to order.. my gog that part of archery is sketch for the money you have to spend! ✌️👌🎯🤟♥️

For me it has been the Tru Ball execution. When I tried it out after ordering online I hated it. 10 minutes later it just felt natural. Such a nice release aid.

You could use the correct size O ring. On the Carter's that I have I used shearing? elastic to replace the elastic band and tied a knot to close the loop

Next time set the release to you before you do the review, not really getting a honest review being you couldn’t get it to go off .
