Excerpts from the very first year-end “best of” episode of Scott Aukerman’s Earwolf.com podcast “Comedy Bang! Bang!” (then called “Comedy Death-Ray”).
Ice-T (Paul F. Tompkins), Huell Howser (James Adomian) and, briefly, Bobby Bottleservice (Nick Kroll) join Scott to introduce the top ten of 2009. Adomian and Tompkins also feature in segments from the episodes voted #2 and #1 (with Ben Schwartz and Nick Thune).

36:08 for some reason Scott saying "yeah, crowbot" has always stuck with me as one of my favorite CBB/CDR moments

Yeah, Scott has some good under-played moments in this, like when he says "let's all calm it down". It's weird you bring up the crowbot, the bane of my life at the moment. I started a CBB video a long time ago, editing in images and I'm stuck on the crowbot. I have no visual skills apart from copying and pasting. It's a good ep too, I might just leave it blank and keep going.

I just happened across an episode of California's Gold for the first time and without seeing his name, I jokingly exclaimed "Huell Howser??" because of PFT's impression. 10/10 I always assumed he was a made-up character

Huell was one of James Adomian’s characters (though PFT did impersonate him in one episode) and I also thought he was just made up for several years!

jumpyourbone sorry, doesn’t ring a bell. If it was on Comedy Bang Bang, it another Earwolf podcast you could search Adomian on Earwolf.com then read the descriptions for each show he was on. There might be a description mentioning a vaudevillian guy and of course you can eliminate eps with Jesse Ventura and Huell Howser etc. of course to listen you’d need to subscribe to Stitcher Premium but it’s well worth a subscription if you don’t have one already.
