RIP Jason. So thankful that your songs are living on through beautiful covers like this. Well done Scott.

Scott needs to do a covers album. His voice is amazing and his covers are always great.

This song sounds so different when someone who's probably content is singing it. But Molina lives on by him covering it, so well done, Scott.

Just went down a great KZbin rabbit hole. I watched Jake Ewald of Modern Baseball/Slaughter Beach, Dawg play this song to realizing it was a Jason Molina tune, to seeing good old Avett Bros doing it too. Learned a lesson. A good song is a good song.

I agree the ABs are best at performing the real shit. My first show was new years eve 2005. their "pop" shit is a turn off for the real fans who fell in love with their hearts and souls. they will never read this and I'm just preaching to the choir.
@ashlihollander45308 жыл бұрын
Can't believe they get known for their new Shitty pop song when they have so many beautiful songs and covers full of talent and raw emotion. I hope they go back to their old ways and radio plays THIS kind of stuff 😏
@lindsayshriver10357 жыл бұрын
Their new stuff isn't shitty. Its just different production. So much negativity. Just because it doesn't suit your taste doesn't make it shitty.
@dcbbot7 жыл бұрын
This isn't one of their songs though is it. It's one of Jason Molina's songs.

i was not a the biggest fan of their new album then i watched the documentry on the album and gained so much respect for it and avett, i encourage you to give it another chance and really be open minded even tho its not traditional avett
