For all of you "Non-Husker" fans that have had positive comments to make about Scott and NU, THANK YOU!! It's not always about the X' and O's....it's about seeing a program get a young man who understands the fan base and lands the job that he's dreamed of since growing-up! I truly believe that Scott will make not only NU a better team, but will also make the BIG 10 an even better conference! We're behind you Scott...welcome home!

I went to Nebraska class of 2005. I knew Frost would probably be a good hire but after listening to him...wow. I remember the awesome 90’s teams. I love this hire. The dude is from Wood River Nebraska, transferred to Nebraska, led the Big Red to a National Title under Tom Osborne...he’s the right man.
@sussex10667 жыл бұрын
Seems like he still has UCF family on his mind. That’s how you know this guy has and will continue to be successful. He genuinely cares about the kids he coaches and that’s an attribute that most lack - most just follow the money and that doesn’t seem like Frost. I’m sure being home at Nebraska is a dream job for him but I’m confident that his 2 years here in Orlando have been the most memorable. Nebraska got a good one, good luck coach!

8-28-22: 17:39 is absolute gold. Illustrates the hubris that made so many who were once neutral on Nebraska root against him. The reaction in the room is why others are enjoying the fan base’s current situation. In Nebraska, it was *certain* this was going to work. He wasn’t just hired, he was anointed. Success wasn’t probable or even likely, it was guaranteed. Look out for us, there’s a new sheriff in town! Everyone was all in, including the we-can’t-be-bothered-to-be-neutral press corps. Of course, as it turns out, he’s proven to be inept and completely overmatched. He’s a coaching midget even in his own division. To see him fall so squarely on his face and in such an embarrassing and high profile way is one of the most satisfying things we’ve ever seen in collegiate coaching.

What made the Huskers great in their day. Here is the secret sauce: FARM KIDS!. The Nebraska Cornhuskers dominated at a time when the majority of their linemen and smash mouth heroes came from the weight room of life on family farms. These kids would go from 6 man football playing both ways to the largest stage in the State. As they grew up over the years, these Corn fed Nebraska boys were lifting hay bails, sacks of feed and doing gut busting manual labor daily. These kids ate wholesome meals of beef and vegetables, not Fast Food. On the football field no kid from any other way of life can in any way match the raw power developed over a childhood of hard work performed daily on a farm and the good nutrition provided by the country cooking of a Nebraska mother. Thanks MOM!!!! At RockyMountainRachSupplies.com we support all of the families of the family farms in Nebraska, and the small town football programs across the State who put the Huskers on the map originally. Nebraska has tradition, let us not forget who taught it to us. You got it this year Huskers and we support you all the way!!!!! GO BIG RED, and Thank you Bancroft, Red Cloud, Blue Hill, Pender, Wisner, Elkhorn, Fremont, St.Edward, Albion, Columbus, Omaha, Lincoln, Ogalala, Chadron, McCook, Gering, Broken Bow, Minden, Beatrice, and the list goes on. Small Town Nebraska built this house in Lincoln and this year RockyMountainRanchSupply.com looks forward to the Huskers bringing it home!

Here's what I think about coaches being pursued and hired before they've coached they're final game at their current school. IT'S WRONG! I'm a big Scott Frost fan but we now have a team that's in a bowl game without their head coach. Hmm.... wonder who's going to win that contest?? Any school pursuing a coach should be forced to wait until the entire season is over including any bowl games. It's unfair way to treat the kids that accomplished so much and went to war with Scott Frost and his coaches. The NCAA needs to change the rules on hiring coaches. I'm happy for Scott but my heart goes out to the UCF team that went undefeated.
@dansker85897 жыл бұрын
TRANSPORT MAN your whole argument is baseless. With recruiting, and also the new early signing period, it's impossible not to make coaching changes before recruiting ends. It is what it is and people have to deal with it.
