An excellent pod. As a Southend fan I remember his late Dad Keith well. RIP. Scott definitely has something going for him as a team manager, mentor and motivator. I do also remember Bridlington Town had a very progressive period around the late 80s.

Scott was the best manager we ever had and so wish he could have stayed at Crawley. I will watch his progress and sure he will have more days like Wembley 2024. Good luck Scott.

Crawley supporter here. Yes, he deserves great success and deserves a more ambitious club than Crawley Town. He owes us nothing. Two seasons ago he was the main reason we remained a league club, and what he did last season was phenomenal. I would have liked him to see out his contract with us, but he would then have been able to leave with no compensation. I was hoping he might stick around long enough to see us to relative safety before leaving, but that was always going to be difficult when people who don't understand our game began dismantling the team. In fairness to them though, they may have had little choice; paying higher L1 wages could have left us with FFP issues (and possible points deductions) further down the line and for a club Crawley's size, turning down money for a transfer fee is not easy. 'tis the way of the world.

Crawley fan here. Truly believe Scott has all the tools to reach the top level in football management, not sure about the ambition to take MK Dons to the Premier League though. But stranger things have happened in football. Couple good seasons at MK on top of his success at Crawley then i can't see why a Leicester or a Brentford don't take a punt on him. Gutted he left Crawley, but his journey is going to be memorable whatever route he takes.

Shame he didn't stick at it a bit longer at Swindon. He could have won us over. Certainly wouldn't mind him back now.

Great interview - missing him at Crawley at the moment 😢

It's quite telling @1:17:43 when Scott inevitably discusses owners, especially since we know Crawley's owners blocked potential player signings based on their data. The Crawley owners are still trying to make on-pitch decisions through Tobias Phoenix, who has a horrendous reputation. Poor Rob Elliott doesn't stand a chance.
