Loved T&S's speech; authentic, relatable, real. Tessa has been honing her public speaking skills for years, but hearing Scott speak so well reminded me that he has always been his best self when he is with Tessa. I wonder how things will unfold for each of them now that Scott is getting married and things will obviously change. T&S have worked HARD for over 21 years to have the beautiful mature relationship that they have. I hope Scott's fiancee takes what they said, at Western, to heart and strives to be HER best self without comparison to Tess; no good would come of that. Sincere congratulations to Tessa and Scott for this honour.

The fiancee does not have the class nor the elegance that T has. I don't think that the fiancee gives a flying fig about what T can or cannot do and neither will she try to compete she knows that won't work. She does not come from the class of family T does that is very obvious. I am concerned that S rushed into this engagement and did not give him and T a chance to date and see where their relationship would take them. I feel he is making a very big mistake and not sure if the marriage will survive. I feel T and S really love each other and need to really give their relationship a chance. He said in an interview in 2018 that he can't see spending the rest of his life without Tessa, well what happened. She said she agreed she can't see herself working the rest of her life without S. Well, what happened? He said in an interview that he needs T and that when she took his hand she was 7 and he was 9 his life changed. Well, what happened? He said in an interview that he is alive because of T. Well, what has happened? We have heard what they have said about wanting each other over the years but what has happened? Let's get real you only make this kind of statement when you really love and care about a person. Nothing about T and S is making sense right now. I sure hope that he is not making a very big mistake just to run from the truth.

Scott's relationship has nothing to do with the Honors that were bestowed upon them during this University ceremony! Please leave his personal life out of the conversations when they don't apply.

I agree their speeches were great T sounds a bit more rehearsed but S sounds like he was speaking genuinely from his heart. He speaks with more emotion than S. As for the fiancee, my opinion is she has no use as all for T neither will she even to strive to be T she certainly does not have Tessa's polished speaking ability not her classy looks not her skating ability this is why T was chosen as his partner and not J. At the WOF ceremony S was pressured into saying that T was his second skate partner because the little fiancee was sitting on the front row but in his heart he knows better. Fiancee should no even be in this picture at all. It is so crystal clear that S and T are meant to be together they are at their best when they are standing side by side in everything they do. He certainly is much comfortable when she is there by his side that is why he commented at the WOF ceremony "why are we doing this apart " this is terrible" he was saying T I need you here close to me not on the other side of the stage. Well, I bet that did no go over with the fiancee. It will be a very sad day when these two people who are soul mates and fate put together for 22 years part ways. At least if they would remain friends it would give fans some hope that they will remain together doing something together. Hopefully, after the tour, a lot will come out as to what has driven these two people who are so in love apart.

Outstanding commencement speech, one of the very best I have ever heard. Your content was strong, interesting, personal. It was a pleasure getting to see and hear from you both together. I hope it will still be possible for you to make public appearances together from time to time. We, the public, though most of us have never had the chance to meet you personally, view you, your "team," as our friend. We have followed your career, your challenges and your victories for a long time. What you have accomplished together inspires us to be better. Regardless of what lies ahead in your personal lives, please let us be able to see you remaining as strong friends. That will certainly be an encouragement and a continuing inspiration to the rest of us, the very loyal friends whom you have never met. God bless you both.

Awesome so proud of these two. And Scott did so good with Tessa by his side much different from the WOF speech where he seemed unsettled that she was not standing close so he could feel her support, yes she completes him in so many ways. He was calm and confident with her close by his side. It is evident both were very relaxed supportive and looked happy together. After 22 years they still need each other.
